“This property was the perfect way to return to my childhood hometown as an adult. My kids and I felt right at home. Everything we wanted to do or see was within a few minutes walk or drive. Our hosts did an excellent job at solving the few problems that came up. Can’t wait to visit again!”

“I brought four of my grandsons for an adventure to explore the area and we had a blast!! The cabin (we called it a cottage) was so comfortable we had everything we needed for a fun adventure! Our host was super helpful with suggestions of places to go and surprised us with thoughtful items to make our stay even more special. The lake is beautiful and it is quiet and peaceful...so relaxing!!! I highly recommend a stay at the Inn! ”

“We enjoyed our stay. It was well equipped with all the necessities. The house has a lot of comfortable seating for larger families. We loved the front porch, it also has a lot of comfortably seating. The location is great, just a few blocks from the park, marina and Lake Huron. Many stores and restaurants are also in walking distance. We brought our bikes and enjoyed riding ariund town and along the shoreline. We would definitely rent again!”

“The house and grounds were clean. The kitchen is very large and has seating for 13. The kitchen island is very large, which allows for several people to get involved with meal prep. The kitchen is well appointed. The kids had a great time exploring the beach. We played games in both the back and the front yards. The location provides easy access to Alpena's shopping and restaurants. The driveway is wide, paved, and can accommodate more than 4 vehicles. We would be happy to stay here again.”

All amenities were accurate with online property description. Clean, tidy and peaceful! It was great to unplug and unwind here. Also as a solo traveler, I felt very safe at this location. 10/10 recommend.”
