Although we visited the town's public beach one day, we did appreciate having a private area on the beach. The host was great with communication. There is plenty to do in the area - our family went Horseback riding at Circle B Ranch, rail biking riding in North Creek, and took a summer ski lift ride up Gore Mountain. We also visited the farmer's market in Chestertown. Our family is from……

“Cabin was clean and cozy and in a quiet location. Make sure you build the fire as far back in the fireplace as possible or you will be smoked out.The kitchen needs a frying pan or two. Overall we were very comfortable.”

“Arrived around 5 on Saturday. Great location. Once I figured out how to open key holder, we moved in. We enjoyed our cabin, found the information folders helpful. We had a nice fire and enjoyed our stay. Our suggestions for improvement. The light in the main room was very bright. A dimmer light switch would have been appreciated. Would like to have had a reading light on both sides of the bed.”

“My friend and I had a wonderful relaxing week in the woods. The cottage was clean and cozy. Someone was there to meet me when I arrived to be sure I had everything I needed. It was quit chilly this week, but we used the little space heater to keep warm. There is a big wood stove, but we didn’t use it. We love kayaking everyday and exploring fun things to do in the area. The lake is so beautiful and clear for swimming and kayaking, and no one was using the shared beach, but us! We loved rail……

“Group of 4 adult friends spent 2 nights around the eclipse. It was perfect! Clear communication before and during. Comfy beds, large living areas to hang out, we utilized the ample facilities (3 full bathrooms, fireplace, etc.). Would stay again”
