"Very small room and very, very small bathroom. Only soap was at sink, no sink in shower. First day. Also no shower mat first day. Corrected after I mentioned this. I laid a towel on the floor. Free coffee in the morning but no decaf. I inquired about staying until one. At night I was told $10 for extra hour. In the morning I was told $20 for extra hour. I paid the $20. Saturday evening a large crowd in the restaurant so had to park in the way back of the lot. Great location. $15 each day for resort fee, not explained when I made reservation. An expensive weekend!!"

While this hotel was clean, their central air was not working during my two night stay and they had no fans available. The temp in my room did not get below 75 and for a woman in my season of life, it was unbearable. It really makes me mad when housekeeping loudly raps on the door more than two hours before checkout time despite the do not disturb sign hanging on the door. "

"Ethan Allen is a respected name in the Danbury area. As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby you can feel the "glamour". But that is as far as it goes. Don't get me wrong the hotel is okay, but it isn't what you expect by what you see when you walk in. The rooms are outdated. I was in a room that had stains in the carpet, walls, mold in the mini fridge, low water pressure in the shower head, and a broken faucet. It was clean, but because of these issues during my stay I got the feeling the it wasn't completely cleaned if you know what I mean. "
