“When I booked, I was nervous about spending that much money per night. After arriving, however, we realized you get what you pay for. A brilliant 8 night stay, allowing easy driving access to all corners of the island to explore. Very quiet location, we left the windows open every night to listen to the nearby babbling creek. Enjoyed early morning coffee (using the in-room coffee maker), listening to the birds. Beautiful green view from our pods big picture windows. Only 4 pods ensure a……

“My wife and I are easy and didn’t mind the lack of A/C but you cannot leave the windows open because of the bright lights, loud traffic, and moist air. Even when we did leave the windows open there is not much wind to speak of in Furnas so it didn’t help. Had there been at least a floor fan to provide some circulation of air it would have made for a much better sleep and stay. Otherwise the place was as described, clean, close to everything and the host was available. ”

“The location was good - the room had a nice view of the water BUT for us unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. We couldn't get hold of the host and Expedia help line did not answer my messages either (Expedia still never addressed our issue - all messages are u answered). I tried calling the host and they did not answer. We had no information about how to access our room. The host finally sent a txt while I was continually calling to say they couldn't answer the phone right now and……

“Hele schone accomodatie. Het sofabed was niet opgemaakt, maar na melding bij de receptie, werd het direct gedaan. Het bubbelbad buiten, was niet toegankelijk wegens onderhoud, maar het was mogelijk om gratis gebruik te maken (24 uur van te voren reserveren) van het bubbelbad binnen. Je hoort de vliegtuigen wel opstijgen en landen (ze vliegen vrij laag) wij vonden dat niet hinderlijk. Prima keuken en badkamer en ruim appartement.”
