“Breakfast was amazing and very welcoming staff”

“From the moment you arrive at Furnas Lake Forest Living, you feel a sense of calm. The reception was easy to find and we received a very warm welcome and explanation of the property, then were guided to our house. It was a very personal experience and I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. The houses are secure, quiet, immaculately clean, and situated in a stunning forested area. “Amazing host. They were really helpful and provided a detailed document with recommendations of attractions and dine out options. They do have 2 lovely dogs on site Pluto and Laika. Very friendly. “We had an excellent stay here. The hotel is convenient. The breakfast is outstanding and the hotel is in walking distance to everything. We went to the mineral pools at night which were fantastic. We also walked around Furnas lake and paid 26 Euros( for two people )to park there and then go to the waterfall hike which was well worth it. We took a cold plunge into the pool at the bottom of the waterfall. It was freezing but so rejuvenating, highly recommend!!! We also took the 20 minute drive to……

“The pool is not heated and even the kids had difficulty swimming at the end of June. Beach is nice to walk on. Did not go in the water. Jellyfish on the beach. The food is ok, not many options for kids and strong on fish (with lots of bones still in). Water is not included with dinner, so a minimum of 5 euros for a bottle. Hotel is a bit dated. Music in the hallways on speakers start at 7am. The grounds are nice and well maintained. The check in staff was nice and the kids enjoyed the flavored……

“The setting is incredible. The hotel, situated on a cliff, overlooks the ocean, so guest can see the ocean wherever they are. The gardens are beautiful and really well taken care of. The salt water pool is fantastic. Finally, the staff are friendly and extremely helpful.”
