Do not recommend booking this summer, '25

The house itself is a 5-star property: gorgeous, exceptionally clean, comfortable and very well stocked. However, it should be noted there is brand new construction going up directly in front of the home. It's about 1/3 complete, so still a long way to go to. Because of the new home, the views off the deck are permanently reduced by about half to two thirds, depending on where you're sitting. The worst aspect of the construction by far is the noise. Construction noise would start as early as 8:30am and could go as late as 5pm. Throughout the day, there is the near-constant noise from the heavy machinery, power tools, hammers, materials being moved around, vehicles on the property, and the never-ending shouts of the crew. As every other word out of their mouths was a curse word, my four young kids, ages 3-10, had to stop using the deck all together during the day. Considering the outdoor space was our primary reason for renting the property, this was hugely annoying and disappointing. Renter be warned.
