Robin's Roost - A Lofted Condo on the Wisconsin River
Ahh...just look at that sunrise over the Wisconsin River! What? We're facing west??!! Huh, must be the sunset then.
You'll lose track of time here but never your direction. Kick back and watch the river flow by from your private patio along the river's edge.
Robin's Roost has exactly what you need - room for 6 and all the comforts of home. This loft style condo has a queen bedroom and a full bath. Up the spiral staircase, the loft has two double beds, it's own full bathroom and a spectacular view. (NOTE: The loft has two separate sleeping areas but they are not closed off.)
If you want to cook, there's a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops and a grill outside with all the tools you need. Or stroll down to Hooker's Resort Bar and Restaurant next door. They might even have some live music you can enjoy!
Master bedroom contains a washer and dryer that is available free of charge for guests staying 3 nights or longer. Shorter term guests (2 nights or less) are welcome to use the machines for an additional fee of $25. Please arrange this prior to booking.
There's two...yes, two public boat launches within walking distance as well as two public parks. While swimming is not recommended at the point of the river, there is a nice park with a small beach about 3 miles away.
Are you a skier? We've got Cascade Mt about 20 minutes away as well as Devil's Head about 30 minutes away. We're also close to Wisconsin Dells (25 min) and Madison (25 min).
Maybe you're a loner and hate the crowds? Join the club!! We're in the middle of nowhere! If hiding is how you feel, we have books for you to read as well as a couple of tv's (smart - no cable) and a dvd player to keep you company until you've had enough and can simply push a button to make them go away!
We use contactless check-in and up to date cleaning protocols.
We do ask you help out the cleaning staff with pulling off the sheets of the beds you use, pile used towels in the tubs and wash/dry any dishes you use. This is greatly appreciated!

I have stayed here 1 weekend a year for about 10 years for a get together with friends. Great location on the river and next to a restaurant. The improvements made each year by the new owner, Jennifer, have been noticed and appreciated. Jennifer makes staying here easy as well. She is very easy to communicate with. Thanks!

Nice place on the river
This place is not where the pin on the map is. It is a good 15 minute drive away from Poynette. Maybe my fault for not reading the listing close enough and just going based off the map but I wish that had been more accurate. The actual cabin was nice, we enjoyed seeing fireflies from the back patio. I wouldn't climb the spiral staircase though, it is quite narrow. The cabin worked really well for a couple.

Family getaway
Property is exactly as described. Very quiet location right on the Wisconsin River. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Owner was responsive and offered suggestions of local things to do. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the lovely view of the river. The condo was cute, very clean and newly renovated. Getting there, GPS doesn’t show the correct location so you will need to put in the address of the restaurant next door. Leaving there, you will be asked to take off the sheets and take out the trash.

Heavy equipment, tree removal and stump grinding within feet from back patio between us and river very noisy and thick dust all over. Was unable to be outside which was unfortunate that day as we had planned bday celeb for one of guest that was ruined ..

Beautiful property- Quiet Neighborhood
We had a very pleasant stay at this property.
We were in town for a sporting event and needed the internet to sync up our devices when we got back to cabin each night. Internet speeds were excellent.
Thanks for the use of the grill.
We hope to be back to enjoy more of the area next time.

Excellent location, beautiful home!
Jenny was very helpful and considerate throughout the process of booking and our stay. We loved the location, it is perfect for unwinding and relaxing by the river. We would love to go back and spend more time at these cabins.
