This hotel really falls between "ok" and "good." The staff were fantastic -- helpful, friendly and polite. They are all doing an excellent job. It is not there fault that some of the rooms have not been rennovated in decades. Mine had stained carpet - just from age and abuse, but still. The hotel's AC was completely shut off for winter, meaning there was no air circulation and the room was incredibly stuffy. The staff did bring a fan for me and that, along with leaving the window open, helped a lot. However, my room was near to the entrance so an open window also meant putting up with disgusting cigarette smoke from guests smoking just outside of the lobby. But, look, it's 2025. HVAC should work year round. The rooms get warmed up from showering, blow dryers, and from the sun shinning in. The location was good -- lovely to walk to the nearby fortress and nice places to eat. Ubers are pretty cheap in Prague so it was easy to get in and out of the city center, but good to remember that traffic can be heavy at rush hour -- just plan around it.

Very friendly staff and great service. Very nice rooms and infrastructure. Includes a small place for children. Very good breakfast. Walking distance to a place with extraordinary view of the river and areas from Prague. Close, driving, from downtown. Totally recommend it.

Great location for Prague Congress Centre

A very pleasant, welcoming and hotel. One lift out of order (middle of 3 with barricade round), so couldn't actually see on first looking there was more than one lift. They were independent so either had to choose one or push both which probably isn't very energy efficient. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of options. However, it would have been useful if there was a quick option if you didn't have much time as it was expensive otherwise. The little cafe was great as an alternative, however, they didn't open till 8am. There wasn't a room service menu in the bedroom and couldn't find one on line. Was told that there should have been one in the room. Not a big deal as I came down and ordered at the bar and then took it up myself on a tray. Good selection and my risotto was tasty! I didn't have a chance to look round the local area but didn't get the impression there's much round there, so ideally you want to get onto the Metro and go into the city. Didn't do that this time, but the stop is close and the line efficient. Comfy bed, handy to have your own iron and ironing board, air con for comfort although windows open which I prefer.
