"The hotel is in an old colonial building which has been well restored and is in a great location in the centre of the old town. Staff are excellent and breakfast is magnificent! The only downside for me was the electric shower which wasn't hot enough, but I recognise the constraints in an old building and the character made up for it. "

"What an amazing place! So cute, the private courtyard area keeps it quiet, but it is only a short walk to the historic center. The staff is friendly (even though I don't speak Portuguese!), the wifi is pretty fast, and breakfast is excellent. I spend 4 days here and I wish it was longer!"
