“Stephano goes out of his way to make his guests feel at home. The place was comfortable and spotless. We enjoyed getting to know our host and his city. The kitchen is well appointed with a well stocked wine rack. Read through the reviews, they are accurate! Comfortable bedding, lovely surroundings and, oh yes, a wonderful bakery across the street. Highly recommended!”

“Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast offers a lot of choices. Besides we found……

“The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. Great views of the terrain by day and fantastic views of the stars at night. Very close to the enchanting villages on hilltops nearby (Rigamagno and Scrofiano).”

“Wow, wow, wow. This property delivered on so many fronts! It was even better than we anticipated. Next year we plan to stay here for 2 weeks. The view was spectacular, location was excellent. Lucia was a perfect host!”

“Nice house and a fantastic garden. Cortona is a great place. The house wasn't very clean and the Air-Con is available but doesn't really cool the bed rooms upstairs on hot summer days. It's too expensive for what it is.”

“Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als übertroffen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und antwortet umgehend auf Nachrichten. Die Unterkunft selber war sehr sauber und geräumig. Außerdem ist das Haus sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Außenbereich mit Pool war ein Traum. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen und würden immer wieder gerne dort Urlaub machen.”

“We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. We took day trips (by car) to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Orvieto, and Montalcino, all of which were easily and quickly accessible. Each of our five guests (two couples, one single!) had their own floor and bathroom. We cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, drank wine while watching the sunrise on the patio, and were transported to the past walking……

“This property is located approx 5km from the beautiful town of Arezzo. There is a bus every hour, daily, from Tregozanno, where the property is actually located, to Arezzo. It is very rustic and in a beautiful setting. So relaxing. And, because it’s not right in town, the best of both worlds. There are no restaurants in Tregozanno but there is a great butcher and deli/mini market. There is also a pharmacy and bar! Maurizio, the owner lives next door and is the loveliest, most helpful human being……

“We had a lovely holiday at Villa Rasenna. Louise is a great host and was very helpful and replied very quickly to any queries. The kitchen is well equipped and the sitting area comfortable and homely. We made good use of the pool. We enjoyed a great meal in the villa cooked by Elena and a local wine tasting and pizza in the village. There are lovely walks from the villa in the local countryside. Would definitely recommend a holiday and we would love to return. Thanks Louise.”

“Wir haben als fünfköpfige Familie (Kinder 1-6 Jahre) eine tolle Zeit in dem Haus und dem riesigen Gelände von Santa erleben dürfen. Der Garten ist eine echte Oase, quasi nicht einsehbar und perfekt geeignet, um richtig zu entspannen. Die Kinder hatten nie Langeweile, weil es entweder etwas im Garten zu entdecken gab, oder weil man den tollen Pool aus Herzenslust nutzen konnte. Sehr hilfreich ist es, dass das gesamte Gelände eingezäunt ist.”

“What a beautiful place. Staff was amazing, so helpful in every way. Lovely breakfasts in the garden. Their bartender fixes some incredible cocktails and the one night we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, everything was delicious. A word of advice: If you’re driving, insist on a SMALL rental car. Cortona is full of tiny curvy cobblestone streets some of which you must drive through to get to and from the hotel. We were offered an upgrade to a Jeep with the turning radius of a semi truck and……
