「The property is about location. That’s its draw along with the history itself. The room we chose was large and lots of windows, bed was comfortable but needs more pillows. Also would’ve liked more than 1 small toiletries for 2 people. The building is cool and the old elevator is charming. But the bar and lobby are really run down and not cozy at all. The speakeasy downstairs was cool, good drinks and decent food but it’s a bar. Not a “speakeasy. But the worst part - the noise and drag racing...

「The property listed 2 beds, one was king and comfy the 2nd was on a platform that you hit bottom when laying down and was not comfortable to sleep on. And, it had a step down that could be a problem if you are not paying attention. You definitely need to be in shape to walk steps or the spiral staircase to reach the bedroom. It was a beautiful building and the grounds were gorgeous. They had tea and coffee, but no creamer or sweetness available. The hosts were there to greet us on arrival. 」

「Great communication for checkin and checkout. Simple keypad checkin. The drive to home and parking is not for the faint at heart - very steep and narrow with sharp turns, but directions are good. The best part - the history of town and home and the house renovation! Any history buff would love it! Cool place! 」
