The cabin was great for my small family. I have a 2 year old and the cabin was already child proof so I didn’t have to move anything and he loved the outdoor patio and walking area. The only downside is we were so busy with the 4th of July festivities in town that we didn’t have much time to enjoy the cabin.

The home was difficult to locate, hard to access due to steep climb up to the cabin. Not handicap accessible and the host did not contact us after our stay regarding these issues. Porch light out and handrail broken to porch.

Lovely cabin in the pines north of town

We rented this cabin for nine days in June and the location is amazing. Northwest of town a little, nestled in a cabin complex, the highest unit with lovely west views of the mountains. The furniture is nice, quite comfortable, and in good shape and the bed is relatively new, per manager and we found it comfortable. I cooked most of our meals and found the kitchen meagerly supplied in all directions. If you cook, maybe pack in your necessities and bring your favorite cook wear and tools. There is a big Walmart and a great Frys Foods close by. The rental agreement is unusually dense with rules and communication was prompt and accurate, but not particularly friendly. They have a policy of never giving a 100% refund, so please be aware of that. Overall, we enjoyed this rental.

Very comfortable stay...just don't make a peep!

We enjoyed our stay and would visit again. The property is very well maintained and the decor is great. Contemporary but cozy, new cabinets and very pretty hardwood throughout. Maybe a little more wall art than I'd have in my own home, but you don't feel like you're visiting your grandma's house, which is nice. The back patio and sitting area got a LOT of use during our stay. They are shaded, and look out on a quiet wooded area with a lot of animal life. Very pleasant. I would only offer two cautions to other visitors: 1. The master bedroom mattress sags very noticeably and we found it uncomfortable. It was the only thing in the cabin that we felt needed to be replaced, but it's a rather important thing. 2. This cabin is in a very quiet area, and one absolutely gets a sense of privacy on the back deck, but it is NOT secluded. As is clearly stated in the rental terms, it is located within a "residential neighborhood" of several similar cabins, and they are actually quite close together (like 100 feet between front porches). For this reason, the owners emphasize a need for quiet. That was not a problem for us and we absolutely respected the request during our stay, but the fact that the Prescott noise ordnance is placed prominently in the visitor handbook and that before we even arrived we were warned several times via email that noise complaints were grounds for immediate removal....well, it was a little offputting. Ultimately, we got the sense that there's tension among the neighbors and that some community members would just prefer this cabin not be rented. It wasn't a big problem and not many people were overtly rude to us during our stay, but renters should probably be prepared for the situation.
