「The bistro, basement “speakeasy,” and lobby bar were all great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The old-timer elevator is cool. The location on the main public square is a big part of the appeal. There are so many shops, restaurants, and bars within easy walking distance. You have to accept it’s an older building and not super fancy but you’re not there to stay in your room.」

「The location was perfect. We got to all our shopping, meals and adventures with ease! It was so nice to come back to the house and relax. The arrangement was perfect for cards, TV and reading. Beds were wonderful. We were sorry we didn't have enough umpf for the game room!」

「It was a perfect fit for us. Plenty of room, plenty of storage, and room to spread out and relax. We even had a private deck. We loved the location; the small town was walkable. It was private, yet close to other towns and attractions. 」

「The property listed 2 beds, one was king and comfy the 2nd was on a platform that you hit bottom when laying down and was not comfortable to sleep on. And, it had a step down that could be a problem if you are not paying attention. You definitely need to be in shape to walk steps or the spiral staircase to reach the bedroom. It was a beautiful building and the grounds were gorgeous. They had tea and coffee, but no creamer or sweetness available. The hosts were there to greet us on arrival. 」

「Great location and views! Garage was a hit with our kids! Porches are relaxing and scenic! Coffee bar and selections very nice! Kitchen was stocked with all necessities, as well as all amenities in bathrooms. 」

「Oh my goodness where do I start. From the minute you step on the porch the view takes your breathe away. We purposely grilled and had dinner there just to enjoy the view. The decor makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time. We had so much fun just walking room to room and taking in all the historical antiques and pictures. This is the one place on my trip I wish I could go back if for just an hour and do art on that terrace with the view. A++++++++」
