“Great property, quiet clean and convinient. Freddy's grocery is just 10 minutes away and has everything you could need. Excellent fishing, there are plenty of pike bliegill and bass in the canal right off of the dock. Trolling motor for the pelican was perfect for getting around the lake. We had a blast.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The views are amazing and the water is steps away from the cottage. We used the hot tub every day and swam in the lake. The cottage is pet friendly. Our dog loved getting in the water and napping on the deck. We rented a tri-toon and explored the waterway. The house is well stocked with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and hearing the waves at night made sleeping even better. The host is quick to respond to messages. Thanks for letting us……

“This place was perfect for our little family of 4. It is right on the water and my kids really enjoyed swimming and playing on the dock. The marina is just a few minute walk from the cottage. We were able to walk there for ice-cream and fishing (we of course asked the people that worked there for permission and went after they were closed).The host/owners are so kind they brought treats for the kiddos and even lend bikes to my kids to use while we were there. Thank you so much, we had a blast!”

“This is a nicely updated, well appointed cottage. Sparkling clean. Excellent communication with the host. We very much enjoyed the peace and quiet on this low- wake lake. The beauty of the natural area across the lake and wildlife viewing was enjoyable. The furnished patio was the 'chef's kiss'. As we often do, we brought bottled water for cooking and drinking. There was wi-fi access. Lots of interesting Great Lakes history and family friendly activities within a short drive.”

“My wife and sons and I stayed here and used it as a base of operations for day trips (Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, Cheboygan). It was great! Homey and comfortable. The fire pit was great, the host provided firewood (plus there’s tons to be gathered in the nearby woods). Kitchen was very nicely equipped for a northern Michigan cabin, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Lastly, it was nice watching the deer eat from the fruit trees on the other side of the road. Would recommend!”

“It was a fun location for 14 friends. Nice common spaces for gathering. Some issues: the lock codes did not work and it is impossible to call anyone, I was texting with someone who finally gave me a master code. Lighting in Cottage 2 was lacking. Large size guests had difficulty with the showers in the cottages”
