“A wonderful property to stay, we were upgraded to the presidential suite which was large with two bathrooms. Very nice old world charm. The food was a bit of a disappointment. Breakfast and service was not up to the standards of the room and cost. Breakfast was included but was limited and was served cold though the plate was very hot? We had dinner one evening it was expensive and the vegetables were cold but the meat was warm and delicious. We were the only guest and the service was slow……

“Great location for my visit, close proximity to schools and university. Rene is an extremely attentive and friendly host and check in/check were a breeze. Room was quite dated and full of furniture cluttered, but everything worked.”

“We were welcomed at the gate and taken to the reception desk by one of their very helpful & friendly employees. We had to sign a sort of indemnity document so whilst we did that he went into the room and put the Champagne I had requested (A great choice within the bounds of the budget I had set) into a big bucket of ice for us. We were escorted to our room shortly after and given a brief walkthrough to show us how everything worked, which keys are for which door, etc. There is a booklet……

“No atmosphere in hotel. Found Spa employess swimming naked in swimming pool. Shokking!!!!!!! Milk sour in room, other room had only cremora. 1 Dirty towel in one of our rooms. Aircon not working. Dissapointed ”

“We stayed over for one night. This property is situated between Pretoria's two major shopping malls-the Broolyn mall and the Menlyn Mall. Brooklyn is about three minutes drive from the property and Menlyn about seven minutes. It is situated in a very quiet affluent neighborhood with 24 hour security. Only guests are allowed in at the gate of the property. The size of the room is quite generous as is the bathroom. There is a lounge between the two rooms on the first floor which I think is a nice……
