“The cabin is located very close to Clam Lake and and snowmobile trails. It is set in a beautiful, serene and private setting. The decor and finishes are top notch. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. The host was very accommodating and communicated well. We look forward to staying again!”

“This is my 3rd time at this cabin, but the last time was 5 years ago, so I had forgotten how amazing this property is! The cabin is older and rustic, but comfy, clean and well supplied. You don't go there for the cabin anyway, it is the endless trails, beautiful woods and hills, 2 lakes, and not another soul in sight. “I was nervous about booking this property because of some of the poor reviews. But I booked anyways because the location was right for our needs. Let me start by saying a don’t mind “rustic accommodations” but this place lacked care. There was trash from other guests in the fire pit, the yard and a bucket on the porch with waste. Upon entry it was clean, but as you go in there is a significant slope to the rear of the home, the linoleum is rippled, the porch is uneven with warped and has rotting……

“Camp Makwa truly exceeded our expectations! The cabin is beautifully decorated and equipped with every comfort we could ask for. My husband and I loved watching the stunning sunsets, and our dogs had a fantastic time being with us. My husband particularly enjoyed taking one of the kayaks out to explore the lake.
