Lovely stay

We had a lovely time, it was special being right on the beach. The house is very comfortable and we had everything and more that we needed. Branko is a very attentive host who wants to make sure you’re having a nice time. If you’re after peace and quiet, Frogmouth cottage at Primrose Sands is the place to be! Would love to stay again sometime.

Beautiful house on the beach

Perfect holiday location. House was amazing and had everything we needed. It was nice to listen to the waves at night and waking up to the views of the beach and hills. Friendly neighbourhood and owners are perfect hosts. Would definitely stay at this property again.

A great week in a quiet location. Some mornings the still waters in that part of the beach allowed us to use the supplied kayaks to enjoy a quick paddle before setting off for that day's adventure.

Stunning, refreshing, didn't want to leave

Wonderful 4 night stay with two young children, stunning views, amazing access to beach, private beach house. Loved sunrise & sunset kayaking, bird watching, jumping in waves, huge movie collection, high quality lounge & appliances. Owners gave warm welcome and responsive to questions. Perfect Location

Our stay at Frogmouth Cottage was the perfect starts to our Tasmanian holiday. The views were gorgeous. Our favourite part of the day was sitting in front of the fireplace with a cuppa watching the sunset. Already planning on going back when weather is warmer. It was a great location, not to far from any towns, this made it easy to do day trips.

A perfect property for a family holiday

We loved staying in Branko and Ivanka’s lovely house. It has everything required for a great break - beautiful views and location for adults and a brilliant range of toys for indoors and the beach for the kids. Best of all we got to try sea kayaking and fishing (using the equipment provided) which our boys had wanted to try for a long time. I could not recommend this house more highly - you can’t fail to have a great time here.

Awesome retreat

Lived up to its description. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy the beautiful beach, read, play games, go for walks. Impeccable home with all the amenities. Will come back again. The only drawback is that it is 30 minutes from a grocery store so you have to remember to stock up when you go. But once you are there you don’t want to leave to go to town! Excellent hosts

Gem on the beach

A superb ‘get away from the world’ for Frogmouth Cottage. The breezes, flowers, and chirping birds...and of course, the clean bay waters are so welcome as one tries to depart from the urban hustle. Other than some of the windows need to be repaired (to open)....strongly recommend this Cottage. Will come back all the way from Texas.

Beautiful Getaway

My wife , two young granddaughters and myself absolutely enjoyed our weekend stay at Frogmouth Cottage. The cottage is located right on the beach at Primrose Sands, just open the gate in front of the cottage and you are on the lovely beach. The cottage has three double bedrooms, a quality, well equipped kitchen. Everything about Frogmouth Cottage is aimed at making one's stay relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable. The owners Branko and Ivanka communicated to ensure that we were comfortable in their cottage. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this establishment for anyone seeking a beautiful seaside break.

Frogmouth Is Perfect

This house is absolutely perfect. The layout, the furnishings and equipment, the comfortable beds and lounge, the beautiful dining table, the toasty fire with loads of wood .... and the spectacular views from each window. The photos are accurate yet they can't convey how incredible it feels to look out onto the water with its myriad of moods, how wonderful it is to step straight out onto the beach, how amazing it is to watch the dolphins and birdlife. We just love this place. The location makes a good base for sightseeing too; a short drive into Hobart, over to the Tasman Peninsula or the surrounding historical villages. Perfect!

My Partner and I stayed at Frogmouth Cottage for four nights, this just wasn't enough time. Upon entering the property you are just blown away by the view...it is simple stunning. The house was immaculate, clean, caters for everyone and had little extras like creams, slippers and dressing gowns. There is also a speaker to play music, TV and DVD player, a kids section behind the sofa with a children's desk, crayons and paper, games, toys and DVD's. There is even a babies bath. The kitchen has everything you need plus more. There are fishing rods, boogie boards, kayaks, life jackets and buckets and spades. There is even WIFI but you are too busy looking at that view and enjoying Frogmouth Cottage to need it! Branko and Ivanka are the perfect hosts that have thought of everything and everyone! We didn't want to leave...just heaven!
