「We loved this quirky, interesting place! We spent time walking around the residence looking at all the retro decor and remarking on which ones we recognized from our childhood. It was a little difficult that the place doesn’t have a full kitchen, but we were in town to visit relatives and were dining with them or at other places. 「Everything was wonderful! We felt so at home for a cozy winter weekend. The house is so charming. Beds were comfy. We just had a little friend’s getaway and enjoyed the location and atmosphere. 「I hate to write a bad review, but oh my...The ad said this was a whole house rental. It was upstairs only. The entrance required was up stairs and on to a not-so-safe deck. The shoreline was overgrown (it was rented to fish which the owners knew). The inside had an overwhelming smell of mold. I started cleaning, my son started wheezing, and we left within two hours of arriving. I filed a complaint with vrbo, put in a dispute with my credit card company, all while communicating with the host. ...
