Pu'u Po'a, Princeville's premier ocean bluff condo situated in the Princeville Resort - a complete resort community with five star luxury hotel, shopping and recreation. Nestled next to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay
There are stairs next to the hotel for beach access.
A short drive down the hill takes you to Hanalei Bay along with shops and restaurants.
Princeville Resort Community has a wonderful jog walk path to Prince Albert park and the Princeville shopping center. Princeville shopping center features foodland grocery store for groceries, shops restaurants and a gas station to fill up for your sightseeing travels.

If you like to relax in the sun or fill your day with sporting activities, this is the place to come. We are located near the 27 hole Makai golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones.

Golf - 27 holes on the Makai Courses. If tennis is your game, enjoy the condo's private tennis courts or participate in the Princeville resort tennis club where you can find all levels of competition. Go reef snorkeling, surfing, and sun bathing just below on secluded 'Hideaways Beach' (please be advised there are no life guards on duty).

Located on Kauai’s incredible north shore overlooking the Blue Pacific Ocean. It is just steps from the Luxurious 1 Hotel Hanalei in the Princeville Resort. You're steps away from the spectacular pool - private for Pu'u Po'a residents - who share access (our experience is there is very little use by others, so we've always felt it was our private pool). Enjoy the tennis and pickleball court.
This condo is on the ground floor, the parking lot is mid level. There are stairs that go down to the ground level to access condo.

The condo is walking distance to the 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay, shop’s, restaurants, and beach access.
Accommodation includes, wireless internet, washer/dryer, dishwasher, blender, 12 cup coffee maker, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, and beach umbrella, .a great place to stay!

Perfect quiet get away

Beautiful view. Spacious accommodations. Quiet area. Well stocked kitchen (no seasonings or any supplemental food items, though. And no left-over storage like Tupperware). Comfortable beds. We really loved it. Reminder… it is a flight and a half down to the Vrbo…and no elevators.

Stunning Sunsets from the Living Room!

Stayed with my wife and 2 teenagers. The location is perfectly placed with unbelievable sunsets out the front living room and close walking distance to Hideaway Beach below. The unit had a new washer/dryer. The property manager Lori was super helpful and accommodating. The bed sheets were really comfortable. Plenty of extra towels and blankets available. The AC works great making the whole indoors refreshing after a day in the sun. Highly recommended!

Great property but a warning is needed...

The condo was great...well maintained, clean, awesome view and the location was excellent if you want to stay on the north side. We had a serious issue, however. During our stay, construction was ongoing in other units at this complex. Even though we notified workers who were working on the unit directly above that we were sitting outside on the grass patio area, they failed to secure building materials. A 10 ft. long aluminum wall/roof cap that had been removed blew off the upper deck and landed where we had been sitting only minutes earlier. It actually fell in the exact spot where my wife had been sitting and it would have hit her in the head had she not luckily just gone inside. When we complained to the construction workers they became belligerent, threatened us and told us that we did not belong on the island. We almost had to call the police. The property host was apologetic and notified the condo president. He, however, was more concerned with upsetting the staff. He stunningly told us that we should have known better than to sit outside with construction going on. He defended the irresponsible workers and said that the wall cap was aluminum so it wasn't that heavy and would not have caused serious injury. Incredulous! A 10 ft. piece of aluminum dropping 10 ft. on someone's head? The next day security measures were taken by partially cordoned off our patio area with cones, etc. so we could not sit directly outside of the unit. Needless to say, this experience soured our stay. The property host is not to blame for the careless and obnoxious workers, or for the pompous condo president, but full disclosure of the situation should have been given. We would not have booked this property if we knew about the construction directly above the unit. Apart from the construction, we would definitely book this property again. The AC's worked well, the unit was spacious and comfortable, and the telescope was a nice amenity. We actually saw a whale in the ocean below. My one suggestion for the unit and warning to other guests... the privacy screen outside the master bedroom is not fully effective and should be upgraded. You can actually see through the screen, especially when lights are on. If you want full privacy in the master bedroom, you need to keep all of your lights off or make sure everyone else in the condo is sleeping.

Loved the location!!!

This place is truly amazing - you are right on top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. There is a steep trail on the side of the property that takes you down to an almost private beach - we snorkeled with the turtles and fish almost every day. Loved the kitchen appliances, and amentities, although please remember to bring spices as there is only salt and pepper in the unit. Also two friendly NeNe's visited us in the mornings and evenings.

lovely vacation

It's a very nice, spacious place! View of the ocean. steep, tricky but fun climb down to a very special beautiful little beach that I loved. The pool is a small and basic and the tennis court is not well maintained- but we still used and enjoyed both quite a bit. The extra day bed in the picture looked to me like it was in a private nook- but it was not- it's in the great big main room. So not ideal for my 17 year old seeking privacy. Still maybe that was better because she couldn't disappear! :) Lori was very kind and easy. And we are pretty easy too so it was a nice family vacation!

Hated to leave

Our first unit was canceled by another owner in November and we were happy that this one was available. It exceeded our expectations. Our stay was wonderful, the views and sunsets are awesome. It’s always fun to watch the whales and surfers. The condo decor was very nice & had most everything we needed. The furniture was comfortable and in great shape. Beautiful location and 5 star accommodation

The property location was just awesome. View of Bali Hai, the ocean, the sunset was just breathtaking. Lori was awesome in communicating and helping out with all the details and always available to talk and help out. The property is very clean and the photos do not do justice to the property. Great beaches within walking distance. Loved the area, loved the place and we will definitely come back!

Very nice condo in a great location

We had 4 adults and 2 children. The condo worked out very well for us as the futon bed was quite comfortable. It it a beautiful condo and watching the sunsets from the porch was amazing. A huge plus was the short walk to the beach path which otherwise would have been difficult to access due to lack of public parking. The challenges were when we arrived the internet was unusable due to slow speed. Lori responded immediately and upgraded the service in 2 days which we appreciated. The air conditioning was not working during our stay. And lastly, I felt that renters should be made aware that there is no cell phone coverage on the property, which was confirmed by conversations I had with other owners during our stay. My experience with Lori was great; her communication and availability were excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Blissed out on North Shore

With stunning unobstructed cliff top views of the vast open ocean and both pool and beach options within view, this condo was a slice of perfection. Also, the unexpected added bonus of air conditioning meant we slept in delightful comfort. The condo came stocked with everything you’d need (including beach towels, beach chairs, and a few toys). Our family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out and some privacy (as teenagers like to have). Cannot wait to return and stay here.

Beautiful Space

This property was as described - great location, great amenities. It was hot, though. Manageable most of the time, but we left for late afternoon to avoid the hottest time for an hour or so.

Lovely condo. Clean. Kitchen appliances are basic, but serviceable and layout in kitchen less than ideal- e.g. dishwasher needed to be twisted so door didn’t hit oven handle- in order to be opened. Would consider renting again.
