Hanalei Heaven

This is a beautiful well maintained condo. The views of Hanalei Bay are spectacular and probably the best on the entire resort! We would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular view!

Perfect place to enjoy they view of Bali Ha'i before or after a day playing on the island. Our favorite was taking the short path to the beach and enjoying drinks and food at the Sand Box bar.

50th Anniversary

This trip was a gift for my parents 50th Anniversary. They had a great time, and this was perfect for them. The property was as described and was beautiful -- the view of the bay is just incredible.

nice stay

the room was very good - great view/location - nice layout-the kitchen and TVs were small but we knew that and they were fine. The rental company-parrish-were excellent with communications etc. The resort - Hanalei Bay-was just ok. Although the restaurant was excellent they offered no breakfast or lunch-who ever heard of a resort without breakfast or lunch. Although they charged for parking - it was always a challenge to find a spot. The fitness center was small and crowded. The staff was excellent.

Kaua’i Paradise

Lovely place to stay! Perfect location in the resort for easy pool, restaurant, tennis court, parking and beach access. Breathtaking views. Beautiful native landscaping. Spacious bathrooms. Very clean. Comfortable beds and soft linens. Having the washer and dryer in the bathroom was very convenient, and it was great to have the beach towels and chairs available for our use. We’d definitely come back!

Great Stay

We had such a wonderful time at this condo! The view alone is worth every penny! The lanai has a fantastic view and we had breakfast out there every morning. The condo itself is very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The condo provides beach chairs and a cooler, and is a quick walk down to the beach. A great beach to watch the sunset :) the condo is only about a 10 minute drive to Hanalei. Overall we had a great stay!

A Divinely Stay in the North Shore

Thanks to this listening, Hanalei/Princeville will forever have a special place in my heart. The unit and views are absolutely perfect. I really enjoyed my time at the resort as well!! They have a fun restaurant (Happy Talk) with live music, an amazing property with outdoor activities, a great pool, and not to mention, a quick walk to access a lovely beach! I will definitely be staying here again!! Thank you for everything!

Amazing!!!

We’ve been to Hawaii many times, including the North Shore of Kauai. This is, by far, the best place we have stayed. The view is breathtaking and the hospitality and amenities were perfect for our family of 4. We can’t wait to go back. Truly a magical place. And the pool was a surprise-huge with a pool bar and beach items you can check out. Also, a short walk down to the beach and one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. We loved every minute of our vacation.

BREATHTAKING

This condo exceeded our expectations! The view alone! The kitchenette is small- but who cares you have everything you need. (except salt, please add salt packs;) ) The bed was super comfortable and the price is perfect. The property has a hot tub, pool, and restaurant with live music. Golf course, tennis courts, walking paths, and a queen's bath right outside your door. Close to the 1 hotel, infact you share their beach. Parking can be difficult on the property. We will definitely come again! Thanks for having us!

Great space with one of the best views in the area

My husband and I had a fabulous time staying at the Hanalei Bay Resort. #3201 & 3202 could definitely accommodate 4 people, but we felt it was just the right size for two people. It is nicely decorated, has a king-size bed, and has pretty much everything a guest needs for a stay in Kauai, including beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and nice bathroom amenities. We enjoyed cooking our meals and eating them on the balcony, which has a spectacular view of Hanalei Bay. The kitchen is on the small side, but it has all the amenities which, despite a few dull knives, were in perfectly good condition. Also, there's a parking lot very close to the condo, which was great. Made it very easy to carry luggage and beach gear to/from the car. The Hanalei Bay Resort is lovely, with a nice pool and beach access, which it shares with the Princeville St. Regis. It also offers a bunch of activities, both on land (such as tennis) and sea. And if the Hanalei Bay Resort doesn't have a specific activity (such as paddle board rentals), check with the activities desk at the St. Regis. You don't have to be a guest to rent some of their equipment, which we found out one day hanging out by the beach. It's a very family friendly place with plenty to do at the resort, but we mostly enjoyed visiting other beaches and sites in the area. You are only a few minutes drive away from both Princeville shopping center and Hanalei, so very easy to get around. Overall, we had a fabulous experience and would definitely come back to this rental again!

Some issues, but beautiful views

I was going to skip reviewing this VRBO because I already gave a critical review to the Parrish Collection, but I got an email saying I was reviewed as a guest and the only way to see it is if I leave a review here. Now I'm curious what they have to say, so here it goes: CONS -We had to search for pillows for the Murphy Bed and a rickety cabinet door fell off of a cabinet that seems barely held together.One of the sliding glass doors wouldn't lock.* I contacted the Parrish Collection to notify them of the above two issues. They offered to send someone to fix those, but we didn't want to be bothered with that on our vacation.We also noticed:A stool for the dining room table was wobbly.One of the AC/fans wouldn't shut off.No working exhaust fans in hot bathrooms.Only 3 mugs for 4 people. Gross, rusted, metal tissue box holders.Some walls had marks and could use re-painting or touching up.Also, I was notified by VRBO before the trip that payment was missing which gave me a heart attack, and I had to confirm with the Parrish Collection that they did receive payment.PROS -The units were very clean and the beds were comfortable - even the Murphy Bed, which I had been worried wouldn't be. The Hanalei Bay Resort is an amazing place with very nice staff.This condo has incredible mountain and sunset views when the weather is good.I guess I'd give it 3 stars overall because of the cons listed, but I bumped it up to 4 because of the location and gorgeous, off-the-char

North Shore stay

Beautiful view over to hanalei bay. Great sunsets. Walked down to beach one night for a sunset. Did not use pool as we were out every day, looked great though. Did not go to happy talk as was closed Tuesday and Wednesday, but did look very busy on Thursday for sunset views I'm sure.

Vrbo was misleading

I rented a 1 br 2ba. The layout was 2 condos (1 studio and a 1 bedroom). I would have prefered the option to rent one or the other.

Hanalei Bay Resort - WONDERFUL

The 2-unit condo overlooking Hanalei Bay was just wonderful. The units are stocked well - EXCEPT - they need to add a pitcher to make up lemonade, etc., to take to the beach. Otherwise, we will go back for sure.

Not as expected, chose to relocate

The view was very nice. The rest was not. The furniture was not as pictured, only room for three people to sit in the living room together (unless you want to use a barstool for your entire vacation). The “kitchen” is absolutely tiny. So small that pots and pans are stored in the living room furniture. Zero room for you to store your own food and I mean zero pantry space. Pull down bed had only sheet and thin blanket for bedding. Master was fine. Bathrooms were fine but not special in any way. Toilets didn’t work well. Too many fake plants around the place that were dusty. Smelled like it had been mopped with old dirty water. (They did offer to re-clean, and did give us an early check in which may have caused the rushed cleaning??). This is not a luxury rental in any way. It’s the size and layout of two regular hotel rooms connected with a door. We left after one night and spent (...revised because review does not allow details on $$$...) to rent a new place because this just was not going to work for two adults and two boys. Very disappointed because I feel like the listing does not accurately describe this location. Gives a range of square footage rather than giving real info. I would estimate it’s probably less than 800 sq ft with both units combined. It’s also not a high end type of feeling despite the nice pictures, it feels old, musty, walls are dirty. Not the clean and fresh kind of feeling you want while living in a space for an expensive vacation.
