Beautiful place, great location. Easy check in. Good communication with property management. One thing that would make this place perfect would be air conditioning. But otherwise, fantastic place. If you can tolerate the heat, this is a great place to stay.

Great location

Wonderful location & beautiful pool! Space has everything one we need. Only hiccup was the toilet would have trouble flushing and there is no AC and the fans don’t keep the upstairs cool enough so 2 of us ended up sleeping on the floor in the living room.

Winter visit

Visited Kauai with some friends in December, and the sun and rain were a nice break from my Idaho winter. A great pool, nice location and a nicely furnished condo helped make the trip great too! Definitely would recommend.

Lovely space but not for August

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The space was lovely and well located near Hanalei where we wanted to be. Washer and dryer in the rental was a huge plus, as was the onsite pool. The huge downside is there is no AC so for an August stay, it was almost unbearably hot at night, especially up in the loft. The ceiling fans were a help, but just a bit. The only other picky negative is there is no overhead lighting, just lamps, so you're sitting in the dark to eat dinner. I would stay there again off-season, but not at the height of summer heat.

Fantastic Home Away from Home

This apartment suite was fantastic! A full kitchen, dining room, living room, sleeping loft, bedroom, clean bathroom, and all amenities provided (including a washer/dryer and beach chairs/beach umbrella, etc.) - what more could you ask for? We really enjoyed our time here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I really liked this spot! It was super clean, we have almost everything we needed along the way. The complex was crazy quiet and it's amazing how there can be so many roosters everywhere you go, but it's like sorcery that they were never in the complex being loud. The whole staff was really great to work with too!

North Shore Fun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this particular unit for several years. However, we were uneasy about the new ownership. Thankfully, the new owners responded quickly to a couple of issues that came up. We arrived to a clean unit with a new room arrangement and some new furniture. It was lovely!

Everything was nicely done. However I would not recommend this unit to anyone due to the plumbing problems in the kitchen. There was a leak under the kitchen sink. We had to empty a bucket from under the sink into the toilet. Regardless of emptying it, it still overflowed be ran onto the kitchen floor. We were mopping continuously. Made it difficult to follow requirements for cleaning while there and when leaving. Should not have rented this unit in this condition.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first walked into the unit, we were greeted by a pleasant breeze and a sparkling clean condo. The unit was decorated beautifully and the bed super comfortable. The loft was perfect for the kids, and we even noticed it can be converted into a king for another couple in the future. The kitchen is well stocked, and it was really nice to have a washer and dryer there for the children. We noticed brand new beach gear and the owners (apparently, they are recent new owners) really took care to make sure everything was nice.

Princeville condo near Wyllie Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Convenient, clean condo with close walking distance (by 8-10min sloped trail) to Wyllie Beach and Anini Beach. Pool on property for cooling off. Condo a few feet from Ka Haku Rd which can be busy at times. Overall good price point for Princeville location. Easy walking distance to Foodland grocery store. I did without car for most of my stay. Kauai Bus had convenient service on Kuhio Highway. Haena shuttle service will get you to Napali Coast from Waipa location (near Hanalai). For Waimea Canyon Drive trails and scenery will need car, as Kauai Bus does not access that area.

We walked to shops and restaurants, the cafe and the grocery store daily. Great location on the north end to explore the beautiful beaches nearby. Originally we were looking for an airbnb in the central part of the island near the Airport to be accessible to both the south end and the north end. That would have put us in major traffic daily. That airbnb was listed 4 different times but unavailable once booked and pre paid for. Each time we had to cancel our listing. Then I found this great condo available on vrbo. Thank you We loved living like locals for the week. Great stay. Accommodations are as stated :-)

We loved it!! Can’t wait to come back again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was perfect for my 3 teenagers and me :) perfect space, big kitchen with windows and nice view to sunset and mountains! My youngest two kids were sleeping upstairs and so they have privacy to play until late a night withouth interrupting my sleep. Plenty of towels at the bathroom, having laundry and dryer was a A+ and not to mentioned they have beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling mask, coolers, beach umbrella etc for you to spend your day at the beach withouth worrying on renting extra equipment 😎The temperature in March was chilly so we didn’t even need to open the windows or the fans at night. The community is super quiet and we love that we had an assigned parking spot for our rental jeep. Also Princeville is super beautiful and close to all the beaches at the north shore, I strongly recommend this location to stay !They were super fast responding my questions and request! Excellent service.Thank you so much for hosting us!

Disappointing

We stayed here for five nights in May 2025. We were incredibly underwhelmed and disappointed. The cleanliness of the property was hard to overlook and took away from the overall experience in a beautiful place. Communication with the property manager was not great. Taking three different instances of reaching out before receiving a response. The price was attractive, however, it made us wish we would have spent a little more to stay somewhere more comfortable. Here are some of the issues we noticed:Dead bug in the bed sheets did not inspire confidence that the unit had been cleaned recently. There was old residue on the fridge and a very shaky handle that felt like it could fall off at any point, a dirty toilet brush next to the toilet, the toilet took basic plumbing skills to flush each time as it wouldn’t fill correctly. The screen above the kitchen sink was broken and we were treated with There is a washer and dryer and there was no way to seal the window to avoid unwanted visitors coming through. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Graciously, they gave us just three pods of laundry detergent which obviously isn’t enough for four people staying for a week. In good faith I could not recommend staying at this property for anyone.

Well stocked and clean but a few problems

Property was clean and well stocked when we checked in on Saturday. We had an issue with a torn window screen that prevented us opening the window vents next to our bed. This caused us to sleep hot at night. We called the number on Saturday for help and heard nothing back. Called again on Sunday and left a message. We did get a call back on Sunday and were told someone would be out Monday to fix the screen. Monday no one came and we received no call telling us why. We called the help number again and left a message. We got a call back and the lady said she would have it fixed on Tuesday and she would get the guy at her office to call us back and let us know what time they’d be there. We got no call back but just happened to be there about 2PM on Tuesday when the repair guy got there and fixed the screen, Communication needs improvement as well as getting repairs done in a timely manner. The unit was in a good location but not within the walking distance to shops as described in the writeup. We had to drive to everything. It wasn’t far but it wasn’t within walking distance. Also we could see the mountains somewhat out the lanai window but they were mostly obscured by trees.
