Welcome to Hale Leilani (Heavenly Home). Our home is a stunning 3 bedroom Hawaiian style home with soaring ceilings and a lush tropical garden with trees all around for privacy, making it great for couples or families visiting the island.

We love design and creating a feeling of being on a tropical island with natural materials, beautiful art, and an airy, open environment. Our serene Kauai retreat has an unbeatable location. It's serene and quiet yet central. The house is a short, tree lined walk to gorgeous Anini beach and just a 5-minute walk from the local shopping center with a supermarket, cafe, ice cream shop, toy store, clothing boutiques and restaurants. Across the street are two scenic parks. One of the parks has mountain, lakes, and waterfall views. The other park has exercise equipment and a playground so you can have fun for the whole family. Beautiful Hanalei Bay is also just a 7 min drive away. If you like golf, you can also walk a few minutes and you'll be at the world famous Princeville golf course with ocean and mountain views all around.

While you are staying in our home on the north shore you have access to some of the most beautiful scenery and hiking in the world - Hanalei Beach, Tunnels Beach Anini Beach, Ke'e Beach, Kalalau Trail, Bali Hai and many more. Hanalei (from Puff the Magic Dragon) is just down the road which takes about 7 minutes by car it too has many interesting and cute shops, activities and restaurants. Some of my favorites are Postcards, Bar A Cuda, Hanalei Gourmet and many more!

Great location - it was terrific to have the park and local shopping center within very close walking distance. We happened to book our stay during the Princeville night market, which was also a treat. Good home base location to explore the north shore. Thank you for having us!

Awesome stay in Princeville

Our family loved this house. Clean, comfortable, close to everything and ton of amenities including all the beach equipment! House stayed cool during hot days thanks to multiple ceiling fans. Lanai is to die for. You won't regret this stay.

Perfect home layout for family!

Great location close to shops, restaurants, walking paths and beaches. House very comfortable for 6 adults to enjoy time and not on top of each other. Screen lanai was perfect for daily coffee and playing cards. Outdoor shower was such a great addition. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, fantastic open feel and comfortable seating all over. Beautiful back yard.

Awesome Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. This home was a perfect retreat after our busy days visiting all the magical locations of Kauai. The amenities were all we could have asked for; comfy beds, water and picnic gear, calm and relaxing atmosphere, generous master suite, the list goes on. Perfection!

Beautiful

All the homes in the area are well maintained must have a strong HOA. The neighborhoodJuat is very quiet except for the rosters in the morning but after a day or two you laugh about it. Good walking paths, close to a park pickle ball and golf and of course the beaches with all the great view’s.

60 wedding anniversary family trip

We loved the house and found it fit our family needs very well. Being close to a grocery store was very convenient. We loved the lanai and all the vegetation around the house, felt very private. We even enjoyed the roosters. Communication with Beverley was prompt and she made sure a minor issue was immediately taken care of.

Princeville Perfection

Just finished our week at this property and we were very pleased with everything! The location on the north shore gives you quick access to Hanalei, Tunnels, Anini beaches. Very close to main road for easy in and out. there is also a shopping plaza and small take out restaurants in walking distance. Bev was responsive and offered good basic beach equipment like towels and chairs. Very clean and beautiful tropical plants on the property. Thanks for the stay, will be back!

house is huge, clean and beautiful. location is very convenient. One challenge is heat. I just realized many houses in the island have no air conditioner. it was hot for two guest rooms.

Great family house at one of the best Kauai locations

The Princeville house is as advertised - spacious, tastefully decorated, and in one of the best and most convenient parts of Kauai. Though not a recent construction and showing some signs of age, this was a perfect base for our group of four (parents + teen + grandmother) that provide just the right mix of relaxation and accommodation. The Princeville location can't be beat for its access to the North Shore and convenience (walking distance to supermarket, plenty of routes for morning or evening exercise in the neighborhood). This would definitely be my top choice for any future Kauai visits.

Good home base

Overall the house was very nice. Could have been cleaned a little better there were lots of spider webs all over all the lamps and such. Very nice to sit on the lanai although the outdoor furniture could use some new cushions, Good location for all things north shore, kitchen was good to use and grocery near by. We locked ourselves out and the owner quickly brought us help. While each room does have a ceiling fan and one room had an airconditioner it still got very hot in the house. Bathrooms were nice. Nice to have beach chairs

This property is 100% Hawaii. Loved all the windows and the screened lanai. Had a great connection with Bev the owner. She even sent me a text to make sure we arrived ok. Home was very clean and was a welcome site with lights turned on when we arrived in the dark. Can’t wait to return.

Kauai Vacation

We stayed 6 nights and we loved the house. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the screened in patio and had breakfast every morning on the patio. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and that was great because we cooked a lot. Location of the home was good and was close to the town of Princeville. We enjoyed the Farmer’s market on Saturday. It was only about a block to walk to it. We definitely will return to this island and stay in this beautiful home.

Great place to stay on Kauai

Bev and Joe's place was perfect for our family of 5. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-appointed and pretty much had everything we needed - loved the great beach towels! Quiet neighborhood. Location is ideal with 5-15min drive to multiple awesome beaches. Easy walk to the park or to the Princeville shopping center if we needed something. It took a day or two to get used to no air-conditioning, but once we did it was really quite lovely. The home can get a bit hot and stuffy in the late afternoon but the fans do help.

Perfect location and plenty of space

Family of 5 enjoying Kauai for the first time. Lucked into picking this perfect location for all our activities as we ended up on north shore most of the time. Our favorite beach (Hanalei) was a short 7 minute drive away and Foodland is walkable distance. My wife enjoyed the craft fair that was there on Sunday. Bev was super responsive and helpful with the small issue we had to get it resolved quickly. Recommended!

Wonderful

Our family of 4 adults had a wonderful stay here. Everything was so well considered, exceptionally clean. The flow of the house and it’s decor has a lovely relaxed feel, light & breezy. We very much enjoyed the garden & family bocce challenge in the afternoons. Lovely lanai outlook over beautiful tropical garden. Close to the village shops - 5 minute walk & short drive to Hanalei Bay. Check in and out easy and host Bev & Joe easy to communicate with. A wonderful location to enjoy. Thank you Bev & Joe.

Perfect place to enjoy our vacation on the north shore!

This home was wonderful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better home to spend our time! The screened lanai was a perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee. The beds were so comfortable and the home had all of the amenities to make our trip comfortable and easy. It’s also just a couple minute walk away from the weekend farmers market which was so convenient and fun. One thing to be mindful of was the home did not have air conditioning. It would have been nice to have, but we were out most of the day and the fans in the bedroom did a great job of keeping us cool at night. I would absolutely love to stay there again. Great choice for your north shore Kauai vacation!
