“This was a wonderful stay. Everyone was smiling, welcoming and very helpful. A few staff spoke English well but most spoke only very little or none. Breakfast was sometimes served at the table and other times it was a buffet. Both were very good. The guides working for the hotel were very skilled and pleasant to talk to. If you want real adventure ask the manager to arrange a trip to Maria Correia waterfall (it is not on the normal list of daily activities - you have to ask for it. It's a 5 hour……
