「Unfortunately we did not like our stay. To start the accommodation is NOT in the premises advertised (I wonder if the guesthouse in the pictures exists at all). We were moved to a flat in a closed, ugly, complex and I found out only because I realised the pictures the owner (or whoever Billy, the person I was exchanging whatsups with is) did not correspond to the guesthouse advertised. Billy did not ask me if it was OK to be moved to another accommodation and only when I asked him what was going...

「I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lodge! The property is very private and quiet, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The surroundings are stunning, with lush greenery and charming mini water features that create a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The pool was impeccably clean and refreshing, making it a great spot to relax. The host was exceptionally friendly and attentive and fulfilled all my requests, which made the experience even more enjoyable....

「Overall this hotel is good to stay. Staff are nice, room is big, bed is comfortable, breakfast is great But I think it's better if there's USB port for phone charging. Or more multiple countries plug for charging... that will be more convenient to foreigners」

「The rooms were smaller size but decent. The bathroom sink didn't have an electrical plug for hair drying. The A/C worked well. Very clean. I would stay here again.」

「It was an excellent place to stay. The bed was warm and comfortable. All the amenities included an A/C, heater, safe, etc. Incredible South African hospitality. Great breakfast in the morning with incredible tasting Omelette made to your preference. The property is nice, with a beautiful garden. Did I mention the great hospitality? They are the best host of people. Cudos to the Owner, Chris, and the manager, Allison. My stay at Highgrove made the trip to South Africa more enjoyable. 」
