Best equipped VRBO we've stayed in, especially the kitchen - we cook most meals during our stay everything we needed was there, and it was good quality as well. We spent much time outside playing with the provided games. Beautiful area, peaceful and quiet.

The property and home were beautiful. We loved the kitchen and pavillion/fire pit area. Got to play a great round of frolf. And about 30 min from both Winona and La Crosse for our hiking trails which worked out perfect. We visited the owl sanctuary nearby after finding a pamphlet for it inside the house and we had a great time. The only thing our group didn't love was the Murphy bed as its a bit of a tight fit for 2 adults unless you want to snuggle all night. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for the weekend and really appreciated the space.

The home and property were beautiful. With an older home I worry about temperature control, but this house kept us cool and comfortable despite the hot weather. They provided so much for activities, cooking, and just overall enjoyment. You get great views for sunrise and sunset! We loved this home!

Beautiful Location and Home

We were so impressed with this property! It was the perfect place for my sister and me to stay with our families and host a dinner with all of our siblings and parents to celebrate our parent's anniversary. We had never stayed in a place that was so well furnished, we had everything we needed! Just wish we had a longer stay to explore the property more.

House is so nice. We did scrapbooking and sewing and there was alot of room in the sunroom and dining room to bring tables . The kitchen is fully stocked and great for cooking with others alot of room. We watched movies at night and that was very comfortable. Plenty of room on the 2nd floor for all of us to stay. We will be returning for sure.

This is a beautiful property and location! We loved the farmhouse, renovations, decor, room to roam outside, fabulous grill area and fire pit, and truly appreciated all the thought that went into providing such an efficient and gorgeous space to cook, sleep, play while in the area to visit extended family. Nice getaway on farm

It is a nicely renovated family farmhouse, immaculate and comfortable. Great beds & linens, well-stocked kitchen, and land to explore. The house is close enough to the river, Winona, & LaCrosse for outings; far enough away to feel remote. Recommend!

Beautifully renovated farmhouse and surrounding property in peaceful, rural atmosphere

Our family of four greatly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful farmhouse. The surrounding area is very rural, so it is an incredibly peaceful place to stay. About a 30 minute drive from Winona, La Crosse, and other cities with plenty of things to do. The house had everything we needed. I only wish the weather had been a bit better so we could have fully enjoy the outdoor spaces. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for a family looking to enjoy this beautiful area of southeastern Minnesota.

Absolutely Perfect

Everything about this property is wonderful. The house is immaculate and fully stocked with everything you could need. The grounds are beautiful--when we weren't playing yard games or exploring the trails, we were relaxing on the porch. The owners are very responsive and so helpful. I can't say enough good things!

We had a wonderful stay at the Smith home. Corey had everything we could have needed to make us feel at home. The disk golf course, putting green, cornhole boards and bocci ball set were an extra bonus that provided plenty of activities for us.

Renovated Farmhouse

We enjoyed our stay at this completely renovated farmhouse. The owners put a ton of work into modernizing the house into a fully functional house with all the amenities while keeping the charm of the original home. The highlight has to be outside. The adjacent gazebo and fire pit are awesome. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a rural getaway or family gathering.

Great getaway

Great little house with lots of outdoor activities and areas to chill. Our only complaint was the bedding & towels were very perfumed (dry sheets we suspected) which irritated our family members with scent sensitivities.
