Estadia agradável, paisagem reconfortante

Exploração do local e arredores. Faço uma nota de que para crianças pequenas era bom que houvesse proteção de escada, quef a nível de portas quer a nivel de redução dos pilaretes de suporte do corrimão. Ex. Se entrar a cabeça, entr o corpo e qualquer desatenção pode ser grave. No geral não há criticas.

Uma casa de xisto incrustada na encosta de um pequena Aldeia de xisto! Simplesmente fabuloso! O conforto proporcionado pela Casa de Xisto e a sua recuperação em madeira é de um aconchego por demais. A vista da casa sob a Aldeia e para a serra que a envolve é de uma imensa beleza, os cheiros, os sons da Ribeira e da passarada desperta os sentidos de todos os que visitaram esta Aldeia e ficaram neste Alojamento. A repetir decididamente!!!

Escapadela perfeita a apenas 2h de Lisboa! Uma cada de xisto recuperada com todo o conforto e respeitando toda a tradição da construção de xisto. Uma Aldeia de xisto parada no tempo e com os seus habitantes cheios de carinho e sabedoria para esbanjar a que visita está Aldeia. Um local a regressar certamente!!

Digamos que tienes la espectativa de que vas a estar en un lugar encantador y al llegar se ve incluso superada. Paisajes espectaculares rodeado de arboles, piscinas fluviales para todos los gustos, gente superacogedora y apartamento con todo lo necesario para que tus vacaciones sean perfectas. Sem dúvida um sítio muito bom para descansar! Viemos à "descoberta" e o tempo foi pouco para ver tudo o que nos foi proposto tão eficientemente pelos proprietários contudo valeu muito a pena, com o que vimos, ficámos com vontade de voltar. Paisagens espectaculares, sítios magníficos! A casa é muito acolhedora, confortável com condições de higiene muitos boas!Obrigado pela lembrança com os produtos tipicos da vossa Aldeia. Pessoas muito simpáticas. Proprietários muito atenciosos e com prontidão para a resolução de qualquer situação que surga. A lamentar o frigorífico pequeno. Experiência a repetir sem duvida.

Another wonderful time

This is our 4th time to stay at Casa da Encosta in the central region of Portugal. The hosts Nuno and Rita and their boys have become our very dear friends. We believe this to be the best place to stay in all of Portugal with the best hosts of Portugal one could ever find. The house is an authentic restored Shist Village home that is built out of the rocks in the earth. The inside is very natural and eclectic with a beautiful history of Portugal displayed, to stay in this house is a once in a lifetime opportunity that a person will not regret, especially if you understand the importance of what this house stands for. A beautiful picture of Portuguese history. There are many beautiful river beaches very close that our family has enjoyed and the most amazing food within a 10 min. A small cafe for daily bread and cafe.Fresh bread, dessert and items made from the village await you on arrival. There are three beautiful stories in this home and the beautiful rock and natural use of wood within the structure is breathtaking! With the modern fresh and minimalist decor it is just a very cool place!

Fantastic characterful property in Cunqueiros. We loved the house, an amazing conversion. The villagers we met were friendly. Nuno gave us really excellent ideas about the sights and events in the area. I’m sure we’ll be back when the weather’s better to try some of the river beaches. Highly recommended.

The best authentic Portuguese village experience.

We love this house! It is our third stay with Nuno in his beautiful home in the village! We highly recommend this experience in the small villages of Portugal. With amazing food and beauty. There are many local restaurants, cafe/bars, river beaches, hiking, and discoveries! We will be back as soon as we can. We miss it already! We have a small family but this home will accommodate from a small family to a large one. It has a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with everything you need. The village people are lovely and helpful. There are local products and handmade bread and desert on arrival to the home. Nuno is always available for anything you would ever need. If you are considering this house it is the best choice in this area of Portugal. Nuno is the best host anyone could ever ask for. The authenticity of the home to the local Portuguese traditional style with an updated modern flare is something that is unmatched anywhere else.

Um experiência de aldeia genuína mas com todo o conforto!

Fomos os 6, 3 crianças e um cão! Casa de Xisto muito bem equipada, com toda a comodidade mas ainda assim genuína e com decoração incorporando a vida na aldeia. Local super calmo e deslumbrante com muitas praias fluviais óptimas bem perto, notamos a pouca afluência de gente(para agosto), para nos foi fantástico disfrutar de tudo isto quase só pra nos mas ficamos tristes pelos locais, que além dos fogos ainda sofrem pela ausência de turistas, venham que a zona è linda e foi pouco tocada pelos fogos!

Tranquilidade em familia

Gostámos imenso de conhecer a Casa da Encosta. A casa é giríssima, muito bem decorada, inserida numa Aldeia muito simpática e muito sucegada. As praias fluviais ficam a poucos km's de carro e são igualmente bonitas e tranquilas. Única coisa que não gostámos foi do fato de que todos os restaurantes recomendados estão fechados durante a semana e funcionam mediante marcação para grupos.

Excelente escolha para uma escapadela de fim-de-semana. O local perfeito para apreciar a gastronomia tradicional portuguesa. Um sonho

Por sugestão de uma amiga resolvemos passar três dias na Casa da Lagariça, localizada na Aldeia de Cunqueiros, Beira Interior. Foi, numa palavra, fantástico. Uma habitação de Xisto, toda ela remodelada não perdendo a sua essência. Desde as instalações á decoração, passando pela limpeza, tudo estáva impecável. A sua localização é de sonho destacando-se, no caso, não apenas a envolvência com a natureza e os seus cheiros caracteristicos, mas também a simpatia das gentes. Destaco a espetacular receção do proprietário, o Sr. Nuno. Mas mais, fomos brindados com um cesto que continha compotas, licores, pão e um belo queijo da região. Recomendo a 100% esta casa para se passar umas excelentes férias com a familia. As praias fluviais que se localizam perto são únicas e puras. Iremos voltar. Elizabete Simenta e família.

Obrigatório relaxar!

Uma casa muito bem recuperada, com paredes exteriores de Xisto e um interior onde predominam a madeira e o xisto numa arquitectura muito agradável, aliada a uma decoração simples mas também bastante agradável, e uma boa dose de conforto. Com todas as comodidades necessárias para uma estadia relaxada. Com excelentes vistas sobre a aldeia... bastante agradáveis aos olhos e à alma. De salientar também o cabaz de boas vindas recheado de produtos tradicionais maravilhosos...o pão...a fruta...os doces de fruta...os licores, em particular o licor de medronho...o azeite...tudo delicioso. Já para não falar do jantar na Casa Ti'Augusta, na aldeia de Figueira... aquele "Afogado da Boda" estava de comer e chorar por mais...tudo acompanhado de uma explicação sobre a história e a confecção dos pratos da gastronomia local...uma excelente forma de aumentarmos a nossa própria cultura! E a simpatia dos proprietários, quer da casa, quer do restaurante, foi excecional! Uma experiência a repetir...sem dúvida!
