“Oh my. This place is absolutely perfect. Gorgeous views, lovely cove. So quiet and relaxing. The food, the staff, the lodgings couldn’t have been better. Easy ferry to get here which is not crazy busy. Easy walk across the island but they have a cart for shuttle. We will be back!”
“During my recent stay at Rixos Dubrovnik, I booked the top-tier Spa Suite, expecting a genuine five-star experience.
Unfortunately, nearly every interaction fell short: examples:
- At checkout, I waited over 25 minutes for a bellboy despite multiple reminders until our butler stepped in and we nearly missed our flight
- At breakfast, a manager passed a simple coffee request to a trainee, and only after multiple repeats did the butler fix it.
- A pre-booked dinner request at their restaurant……
“Wonderful hotel. Warm greetings, amazing view. Got bus to old town right in front of hotel. Free parking. We enjoyed the buffet dinner, jacuzzi and sauna.”
“If you are looking for seclusion then this island stays is for you. Staff ultra friendly helpful. Rooms are adequate and the pool and amenities are adequate.
The negatives - it is an island so you are reliant on the Ferry to the mainland. This only arrived a handful of times per day. If you miss the last one you are stuck. Sunday is a no go as only arrives maybe 3 times a day. Though only 5 euros for a one-way ticket. The hotel is all inclusive however if you have been to Mexico this is not……
“Rooms Edna was the perfect place for a short stay before catching a small cruise yacht. The simple, clean room with helpful staff is very close to the harbour with cafe's and shops nearby. You can walk or catch a bus to the old town easily from there as well. Definitely recommended.”
“Very convenient location. The room is clean and adequately furnished. The place itself is very close to restaurants, grocery stores, bus station, and airport shuttle buses. The staff/owner was very helpful and gracious. Will definitely recommend the place to friends and acquaintances.”
“Incredible property. Location right next to čingrija bus stop, very convenient. Room was well organized and extremely comfortable. The views on the balcony were amazing. The daily breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly”
“Highly recommended place to stay if you visit Dubrovnik.
Clean room, polite staff and comfortable.
Great facilities and restaurants in the resort area.
Frequent shuttle bus travelling between resort and old town
Self Driving in Old town is restricted and hotel within old town not recommended ( tons of stairs awaiting you).”
