“This is where you would want to go if you want to stay someplace quiet out of the main touristy area of Bar Harbor. The Inn is very cute like staying at your grandmother’s, it is across the street from Prospect Harbor. We rode in on a motorcycle in the rain from Bar Harbor and Gale was at the door to greet us with two dry towels. She reviewed the map of the Schoodic Peninsula gave us helpful tips and places where we could go to eat. The included breakfast each morning was delicious and a great……

“We loved our stay. The location was perfect - easy walking distance to downtown and just a short walk from the Bar Harbor trail sandbar that is only passable at low tide. The staff were great and the savory and sweet breakfast options were delicious! Plus the water pressure in the shower was fantastic! Would definitely stay again.”

“We had such a pleasant stay here! The place was impeccably clean, and you literally had everything you needed. I had to ask for an extra blanket, and it was brought to me right away. The breakfast was delicious and the snacks were great and even had some gluten free options. The young lady at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart, helpful and so knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside was that the Inn Keeper was not that friendly and definitely……

“The facilities were clean & updated. Very close to Acadia National Park entrance & downtown Bar Harbor. This was my first time using VRBO & was unfamiliar with trying to communicate with host but he did answer…the check in was confusing because there was no one in the office at all during our stay & had to figure out how to get into the room. Our family was over all very satisfied with this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent place to stay.”
