“Had a big storm hit during our stay. The plowing coukd have been better. They used a tractor instead of a plow truck, so that left it no so great. But otherwise, great stay. Nice views this morning after the storm left.”

“My mom and I had a small weekend getaway in Limerick, Maine. The reason for our trip, was to attend a maple syrup weekend event at Hilltop Boilers and hike on Sawyer Mountain. “It was clean and fully lit up when we got there, with a bottle of wine waiting for us. We are not wine drinkers, but a nice gesture. It was a bit smaller than expected (I believe the photos make it appear bigger), but the LR furniture and queen bed were pretty comfortable (with no shortage of pillows). Having a comfortable bed always rates high on our list when looking for lodging and you never know what you’re going to get. There was, however, an odd noise (much like a random drip on a drum)……

The location was perfect for my teen children — they loved the kayaks, the small swimming area, and the location. They could walk to town for ice cream and have a little independence.
