Beautiful property with very friendly staff. The continental breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night. Room was very comfortable and clean. Already can’t wait to come back to visit and stay at AWOL.

We loved this hotel, away from it all but close enough to town to enjoy it all. Great views and so many extra perks, like free coffee all day, free breakfast, smores, drinks for purchase, and music playing by the pool and fire pits! Love, love, love!

Walkable to Commercial street, Race Point was a ten minute drive away, room was cozy and clean, pool was great, free breakfast and coffee on tap were amazing! Access to free bikes was also a plus. Would definitely stay here again for a nice quiet stay with close proximity to PTown.

The location is perfect for exploring on foot or by bike. The atmosphere is truly unique and incredibly relaxing. Peace and quiet are part of the experience and every little detail has been thoughtfully designed to make your stay enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. AWOL is a beautiful and charming hotel, perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful stay. It’s located quite far from the center of town, near the end of the peninsula, so the area gets very quiet and dark at night with very little street lighting. The room was cute and nicely designed, but quite small. There was no desk or proper space to sit and eat inside the room, so it could feel a bit cramped if you’re staying with four people. Overall, we really enjoyed the hotel and its peaceful atmosphere. The only real downside was the weak Wi-Fi and limited cell phone reception. Other than that, it’s a lovely place to stay if you prefer somewhere quiet and away from the busy center.

Rooms were clean, staff was extremely helpful. Rooms are on the smaller side, we would have liked a counter or something for our suitcase. Also you can hear every step people take on the stairs if you’re staying in room 6.

Room was poorly appointed. There was very little storage and no drawers, neither bathroom or closet door would fully close, and the tiny hanging rod was partially detached from the wall. The lighting solely consisted of two hanging lights on the sides of the bed. Very funky for an exorbitant nightly rate.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. The property has a very beach vibe and gorgeous views. My one cautionary note is that the platform beds are very hard for older people to get in and out of. Had we known we would have asked if they had more accessible accommodations

The hotel is very charming but the layout of the rooms is a bit challenging if you’re staying for a long period of time. Not much closet space and very little hanging areas. Otherwise the hotel was great. Staff is very friendly and attentive, property is lovely and pool is nice. Only other issue I’d point out is the location. If you’re into walking in Ptown like we are it’s a bit difficult at night. You have to briefly walk along highway 6 to get to the hotel and it’s very dark at night. We had to use flashlights on our phones while walking along that area at night.

Everything about this hotel was an amazing experience! We will definitely be coming back! I loved the office where you could get a bunch of delicious drinks on tap (I loved the teas!!!). I also love how nice everyone at the hotel was and they were all super accommodating! The free bikes were an amazing plus for our trip, and every night you have access to a bonfire and s’mores! I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Sadly we only stayed for only one night, but I know we will be back and for longer!
