「This hotel has bicycles available for guests, and most of the staff is very attentive. Unfortunately, the gentleman working in the coffee shop was unable to make me a cappuccino with lactose-free milk, and when he finally did, it tasted terrible. He still charged me for it, and then asked if I could pay his bill so he could go upstairs. Aside from him, the rest of the staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming. 「A perfectly charming hotel with the friendliest, most thoughtful staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We were there five nights in a spacious room with beautiful appointments. The pool is perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The front desk arranged a sailboat cruise for us and yoga every morning on the roof at 6:30 AM. I can’t wait to come back to this dreamy place a block from the ocean. 」

「This is a lovely boutique hotel in a charming, old-world, Indo-French building. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and well maintained, with a unique atmosphere. The owners and staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is cooked to order, including excellent South Indian and Continental options. (Frankly, you would be nuts not to go for the fantastic freshly cooked dosas, pongal, idlis ...) The hotel is situated in the old French quarter, known as 'White Town', which is exactly...

「The surrounding environment was very unhygienic. Drains choke up with mosquitoes breeding clearly seen. I thing the hotel management can take photos and report to relevant authority.」
