Na hora do check-in da Natalia, a recepcionista quis cobrar de + U$$100, e o acordado era U$$ 50,40.
O mesmo ocorreu com outras duas hospedes britanicas.
O atendimento foi ruim e inesperado.

Just okay...
+ clean room

+ - far from center, tho in a quiet area
- not a very welcoming check-in experience, or very friendly feeling during our stay
- internet sometimes hangs
- ants in sugar, cats running around in breakfast area/kitchen, moldy tea (due to humid climate)

Good rooms but bad organisation.
Nothing negative about the tripleroom. Big and spacious, cleaned daily and well working kitchenette.
The organisation however leaves a lot to wish for. We were welcomed by who we think was the owners daughter, given no info about breakfast etc. We got down the second morning and asked for the included breakfast which was clearly advertised on hotels.com. The person who we think was the owner simply said she was busy and therefore we couldn't have it that day. She later said that breakfast was from 7-8 am. Breakfast was really good and tasty. A man who we later learned was calldd Miguel and was the owners friend charged us for our stay but seemed to fail to communicate it further as we got the question if we had paid again and then they claimed we had only paid about half of the total sum due which was really weird. Miguel was kind of childish and weird. One morning when we sat down and had breakfast he disrespectfully said to my vegetarian friend "Just so you know, plants have feelings too." And also he said he sols snorkling tours to pinzon island which cost 120$ but he could sell them to us for 115$. We booked the tout at 110$ with another agency and when I told him that the same night he said (mockingly) "I told you I could sell it to you for 80$" which was a downright lie and a really weird thing to say, especially from someone who worked at the hostel. Also the wifi doesn't work at all in the room and is extremely slow even in the lobby.

Quiet, economical, but not near town center
This hostel is great for budget travellers. Nice bedding, plenty of hot water, some wifi and at least our unit included a small kitchenette. The establishment is located about a mile from the city center and for those who don't mind walking, it takes about 25 mins. The local neighborhood felt very safe to walk through. For those who want to ride to and from town, for $1.50, taxis are easily to find almost any time of day.
One advantage to being located out from the town center was little traffic and other noises. One disadvantage, if you're on an early morning day cruise, is getting up around 6am.

Don't do it
Far from town, not very comfortable, room wasn't serviced, breakfast was barely passable. We got one small, rough towel for a room with capacity for three people, the room was LOUD and on the ground floor so we could hear everyone coming and going at all hours, the room wasn't serviced the entire time we were there (3 nights), and we ran out of things like soap and clean towel (singular). The location was far from town and pretty inconvenient.

Very clean, nice hosts, decent breakfast.
A good place to stay for the price, it is a 15 minute walk from the main port and restaurants. The neighbourhood is safe, and there are plenty of taxis always driving by all hours of the day/night. A small grocery store is located on the same street, handy for lunch/ snacks. Taxi cost is about $2 to the Main Street if you don’t want to walk. Hostel is very clean. Kitchenette was handy.
