Owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly hostal with no partying, drinking, loud music. Made it easy to sleep. Rooms are basic, no AC, no hot water but private bathroom in our room. Bedroom could use fresh coat of paint but everything was clean. For the price it was a great value. Without a car it is likely further from the beach than easily accessible. We had our own car so it was a short drive. We would definitely recommend this hostal.

It's a bit of a walk up the hill but means you have a great view of the sea and the town. There is a kitchen you can use on the first floor and a lovely rooftop to chill on. The owner is really friendly and the family are super nice. Breakfast was included through Expedia and was eggs on toast, a fresh fruit juice and coffee/tea. Would highly recommend this place if you're thinking of staying in PL.

Perfect stay

Maria and osvaldo, the host are so nice!we had a perfect stay with them! We arrived at 5h in the morning by the night bus, they got up and gave us our room with a smile even if the check in was at 14h that day! The room was clean with a view on the coast! The roof area with hamacs and 360• view was perfect to chill! There is a small kitchen with everything you need to cook, always good! 5 mins walk from the beach and supermarket. Good value for money. The only issue was the hot water, was hard to get it running.

Nice getaway

Had a spacious and clean room, although it's a little old. Lovely rooftop terrace, Shared kitchen facility if you like to economize and cook your own meals. Breakfast was fresh made, to order. they helped me with tour arrangement, both to Isla de la Plata and Agua Blanca. Easy walk into town or 50 cents for a moto-taxi. would stay here again.
