I had a second wonderful stay at Margaritaville! It is a smaller resort with a terrific vibe! There was a great range of ages, and lots to do if that's your preference. All public spaces are impeccably maintained! My room - 462 - was stunning! It was beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and had the world's best mattress! Although, there aren't a huge variety of restaurants, I love what they do offer! License to Chill was my go-to spot for lunch and I loved my meals at Frank & Lola's and JWB. I'd like the resort to do away with the reservation system, but I was happy the restaurants offered walk-ins, even during a busy time of the year (New Year's). Another restaurant addition would definitely be a bonus! Similar to my first visit, the team at Margaritaville is exceptional! The staff are hard working, friendly, very customer-service oriented, and are genuinely nice people. They really add to your vacation experience! Staff was phenomenal, Alberto and Maria at the SOS made our stay. Noel in the boathouse and License to chill was great too. Salted rim was fun every time we went. Only complaint would be the reservations for the restaurants. We were only able to get in each once, maybe a couple default reservations for the 2nd and 3rd night at each one for a stay could help that.

First, hot water for shower was limited. At first I thought there was something wrong with our room. I went to the front desk and the lady didn’t seem to care in my opinion. She asked “well is it not working or just not hot?” After having maintenance come to the room, he told me it was at the maximum. I couldn’t even wash my hair because it was cold. I eventually learned you had to take a shower early in the morning or around 3pm, the water was warm at those times. Second, the food reservations were difficult to figure out and they didn’t have many options and we were there for 7 days. Only 2 lunch options and 2 dinner options if you didn’t have a reservation. The buffet was good but getting a drink, even water, was slow and food was cold or limited if you went after 8pm. However, they have awesome desserts all the time! Third, no beach! We didn’t get to enjoy the beach at all. They had a sign posted that the hurricane destroyed the beach and that we could access it at our own risk. It was very dirt and smelly. Fourth, they had a small amount of chairs available in the sun. A couple days they closed seating areas early for private events, which didn’t give us any place to move to unless we wanted to be in the shade and it was chilly. We seemed to be in the way and hurried to be done for the day. I like to lay out until the sun goes away and we couldn’t do that in those days or if we didn’t have good seats. I got up at 6:30 one morning to get chairs and it was gone by 8.

Rooms are great, good luck getting the maid there. We had it done twice in a 7 night stay. Front desk isn't the worst we've experienced, but nowhere near the best. Food is pretty good for the most part, but some days are not too pleasurable. Spa is outrageously priced,so we stayed away. Im pretty sure it wasn't busy. Beach sucks,but pools are good, just freezing.

Great resort and super fun vibe. No there is no beach so that was known going in. Not an issue for us. Plenty of room around the pool and never a long line at the bars. Staff super nice and helpful. Pool was chilly but it was 60 at night over new years so expected. Still got in for volleyball and foam party. Steak place was not great but Italian place was good. Buffet was good. Outdoor lunch buffets were good. Daytime taco bar was good. Pretty quiet at night unless you go to the Landshark bar. Cool bands there and singing. Then dance music. Fun Mexican dancing show one night. Overall just a good time, clean, new resort. Felt it was a good deal for the stay.

Overall, it is a very nice resort. Positives: Good food, all-inclusive, clean, multiple restaurant options, friendly staff, pool activities were very fun, JWB Steakhouse was awesome Could be improved: No beach (and we had no idea), very few of the cocktails tasted as good as they should have, breakfast is buffet only (huge selection but never any bacon, eggs benedict, or huevos rancheros for example)

The front desk person at check-in was very hard to understand. When I first got to my room it was like an ice box, 64F. Worst thing was I had no hot water at all at 5:00 PM when showering after pool all day to get ready for dinner. I finally offered a new room after 4 days, no apologies at all. I had to pack up my room and could not get into a new room until 3:00 PM. The main pool is in rough shape, concrete coming apart and it has a number of mats in place covering holes. The beach is not useable at all but I do think people going here are aware of that. I would not go back.

Nice Staff and Clean Resort, But Significant Discrepancies & Missing Beach The staff were exceptional and the property was kept very clean. Their outstanding service was a definite highlight and prevented our stay from being a terrible experience. However, the resort did not align with our personal preferences, primarily due to the lack of a beach and several misleading details in the third-party description (Expedia) No Beach Access: This was our main disappointment. There is no traditional beach at this location. If a beach is a key part of your vacation experience, we strongly advise booking the other Margaritaville property. There is also no beach nearby (uber only) Dining: The Expedia description inaccurately claimed five restaurants. There are only four onsite. Furthermore, two of these require reservations which were difficult to obtain. This left the buffet as the primary dinner option, which was not our preference as we enjoy more formal dining experiences. Misrepresented Minibar: The description stated the in-room minibar included all beverages. This is incorrect. The minibar is not stocked automatically and operates on a limited point system, offering only beer or soda. Spirits and wine are available at the resort bars, but not for in-room stocking. While it wasn't the right fit for us, this resort may be ideal for guests who are perfectly happy eating at a buffet for most meals, spending all their time by pool, and for whom a beach is not a necessity.

The room was so cute and fun, the staff were amazingly friendly, and there was some great food and drinks. My only real complaint is the lack of beach but if you are fine lounging by the pool this was a great experience.

Well designed resort, stylish and very clean with great service and entertaining crew, plus two pickleball courts. Everything was very good, but no beach and a lot of sargassum at the shore that smells. Pool was not heated, so it was chilly to go in at first.
