“This amazing slice of paradise was the perfect place for two friends (and a dog named Sprocket) to get away from it all for a brief moment. The atmosphere of the property was refreshing, and soaking in the hot tubs stole any of our remaining cares. Sprocket enjoyed the grounds, but especially the warmth of the fire. “Very much enjoyed our short stay. Beautifully situated above Kaikoura, quiet, clean and spacious with lovingly equipped kitchen. Walking tracks all around with great views. Only suggestion would be to have a heater in Bathroom as it gets very cold. Saw a great sunrise over the sea. ”

“Kaikoura was wonderful, our favorite spot in our trip, thanks to a kayak trip surrounded by dolphins and some great food. Judy's house is perfectly located, 3-4 minutes from restaurants, grocery store and the town. She is very friendly. Downsides - internet was a little spotty and dryer doesn't work so well, but the home is still a bargain.”

“Everything you could ever want is here :) It was all so neat and tidy. It is a lovely, quiet location. To open up the curtains in the morning to the ocean and the Southern Alps is just breathtaking, not to mention seeing dolphins in the bay as well. It was a shame to have to go home and we would definitely want to stay here should we ever be down that way again. An absolutely amazing place to stay :)”

“The property was easy to find, views from deck awesome. Had lots of walks on the beach, meeting the friendly locals (seals). Didnt see any people. Train track right next store - added character to the house!!”
