Only a few paces from a great beach, yet with an expansive rural outlook - a classic Kiwi Bach but with modern kitchen & 2 bathrooms (one has shower, one shower over bath). Indoor-outdoor flow to patio dining, 4 double bedrooms. Whole property is fenced. Short walk to shop, cafe & kids play-parks. Easy drive to various towns in 4 directions & to visit the whole region. Boat ramp, Surf Club, skate park, tennis all local, golf close too.

The host was great to deal with and the batch was nice and well looked after . The only thing I would change is the beds were hard work and need to be upgraded.

Disappointing

Chech-in process and initial communication worked well. Kitchen and bathroom looked great, but most of the dishes/pans/cutlery were not very clean. The stove did not work and despite phonecalls/text messages to the owner for help there was no answer. Waste bin and most of the ventilators were rusty. We had booked for 6 people but only five beds had linen. To get to the second bathroom you had to leave the house since its entrance was from outside. Most of the furniture looked very old and raggy. Overall rather diappointing

Kiwi bach with great location

Nice big bach, two bathrooms, beautiful location, helpful owner with great communication. Bach is clearly a work in progress but there were lots of modern conveniences like aircon and smart TV. It could have been cleaner in some areas; bathrooms & linen, but overall a good experience.
