"Avoid This Hotel. This hotel feels more like a 2-star establishment. The hotel is isolated, located above a supermarket, and offers very basic facilities. Despite being advertised as a spa hotel, there is no spa. The rooms are very noisy. While showering our baby daughter, the metal shower control knob fell off, creating a serious safety risk. Instead of apologising and acknowledging the danger, staff dismissed our concerns, saying it was only 3 cm and not a big deal. Moving us to another...

"Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean, and the pool area excellent – a great place to relax with plenty of space and comfortable surroundings. The breakfast offered a good selection and was a great way to start the day. The check-in staff were polite, although they weren’t particularly warm or welcoming, so the arrival experience felt a little impersonal. "Do not stay at New Barcavela under any circumstance. We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, and it completely ruined our trip. The property is severely unhygienic and heavily infested with cockroaches; we found them crawling in the bathroom, making the space entirely unusable. Furthermore, the hotel is a consumer scam. They advertise a "private beach" on booking platforms but hide a mandatory €30/day fee per beach bed. The room itself was a disaster: tiny, filthy, lacking basic amenities like...
