“The home had not been cleaned before our arrival. There were tiny dead bugs all over the kitchen counter. Tray on the outside of the refrigerator door was filled with slimy water, cloth stuffed inside the ice dispenser, keurig tray was moldy and in master bath toilet paper holder hanging out of a whole in the wall. The key lock was very persnickety. We emailed, left voicemail and sent text to host who did not respond during our stay. We left 2 more messages once we were home and still have not……

“We were pleased with our stay. Nice, safe, and quiet neighborhood. However; there is a main road located a few hundred yards from the nice fenced in backyard. Road noise was noticeable to us during commuter hours. We do live in the quiet mountains of NC so noise may be more noticeable to us than it is to others. House was very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again. Host was also very kind, considerate, and responsive. ”

“The home was immaculate and absolutely wonderful. The host made sure we had everything we needed and kept us well-informed about everything in the house. The neighborhood was great, and this was one of our most comfortable stays. We would definitely come back again!”

“Everything was good except the oven. I was very disappointed that I had to stop and clean the oven. I was fortunate that I brought rubber gloves and it took a lot of effort to clean oven from a previous guest. Fortunate for me I had family members who helped me clean so we could eat dinner in time. I should have been compensated for the inconvenience. I did not ask but it should have been offered.”

“We enjoyed our stay here overall. The home is spacious, quiet, and clean, and located in a very nice neighborhood. It has so much potential to be a 10/10 stay.That said, there is quite a bit of deferred maintenance that future guests should be aware of. We noticed loose tiles throughout the property that could pose a tripping hazard, as well as some loose fixtures. Unfortunately, the pool was green and unusable during our visit. “It's rare that I find a place that has it all, but this did. The place is beautifully appointed, with almost all creature comforts (would have absolutely loved a few blankets, especially because sometimes it was in the twenties outside that made it a little cold on the couch). Everything was fairly new, modern, and sleek but still with a comfortable feel. The bed seem to be a memory foam mattress, which was quite comfortable, and the duvet cover was buttery soft.
