"Lovely hotel just around the corner from Shuishe bus stop. Close to pier, restaurants, 7-11, Family Mart. Elevator, nice shower, plenty of plugs and USB chargers, great breakfast. The complimentary tea in the rooms was AMAZING!! staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke great English. "

"In any other place, I would have given this 4 stars. However, given the shortage of reasonably-priced, top-notch hotels around the lake, my 5-star rating reflects what was available for Taiwan. The room was very nice, and the hotel was close to the bus station and to the start of the trails around the lake. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and made our entire stay around Sun Moon Lake a great experience. Any issues we experienced, such as a slow elevator, narrow stairs, too few...

"I have booked for 2 Quad rooms and a 6 pax family room. My family and I had a comfort stay at this hotel. Staff are friendly and hotel provide breakfast coupon for us which the breakfast is tasty and variaties of choices. The rooms are clean and spacial. Easy food hunting within a 5 mins walking distance though it is located at small street. Will choose to stay here again if I had a chance back to Puli."

"This was an over-night stay location for our multi-day road trip. But Taliwen B&B was so nice that we will probably use it as a place to stay for our future activities in the area. The B&B is spacious and comfortable, The host is friendly and curteous. Love it!"

"Stayed in the Deluxe Villa, Lanai in April 2023 and paid $577 US for one night. This was their premium suite. The space was impressive at nearly 2,000 sq ft. Had an old-world feel. The view from the outdoor pool area was magnificent. But anyplace with a balcony that high up would have magnificent views. So no points there really. While impressed with the size of the space, I was very disappointed with simple comforts you would expect for paying nearly $600 for one night and quite upset...
