Hands down the best experience I have ever had at an all-inclusive resort! The staff is incredible and treats you as more than guests, they treat you as family. From the moment we checked in (at 4am due to flight delays), we were greeted with enthusiasm and welcomed by Markos, who continued to light up our days our entire stay! The entertainment staff are also amazing and very personable, as well as all of the drivers of the shuttle throughout the property! That was an unexpected amenity that we really appreciated. Our room was newly renovated and cleaned to perfection each morning, and all of the common areas were well kept! The pools throughout the property are just beautiful and equipped with poolside and swim-up bars. There are so many dining, shopping, and recreation options with there being 7 resorts on one large property, I could have stayed for weeks and not run out of things to do. Will definitely be coming back!

Es mi quinta estadía en un hotel Bahía Príncipe y califica bien en casi todo. Me sorprendió el mal servicio del área de Alimentos y Bebidas. No solo hay muy poco personal, lo peor es la calidad de la atención: meseros mal educados, lentos, sin intención de ayudar. Es una lástima porque antes el servicio era sobresaliente. No sé si Hyatt ya tomó control de esta propiedad y si ese cambio o el cambio futuro ha afectado negativamente en los trabajadores.

The staff was not helpful or friendly. They also try tricking us to attend a meeting to buy like time share. We were only allowed 2 dinners at their restaurants. The buffet was always over crowded, food was cold, service there was horrible!!! Plus long lines to get in. Poor bartender service everywhere we went. The golf cart service was horrible. The drivers pretended not to see us most of the time. We left a day early.

This was a great vacation. The rooms were clean all of the service was amazing food in the buffet was good. Lots of variaty you could stick with items your comfartable with or try new things. My only complaints. Using the app was very clunky. And whats with having to look into weather or not you can get room service. I get charging an extra fee or something at different tiers but to not allow you to order at all?

I recently stayed 11 days at the Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana. The building in this area is quite old probably 30 years old and need to be renovated. Unfortunately there was many mosquitoes and nats in my room. Best to upgrade to Esmeralda or Aquamarine because these areas are newer and the staff is more attentive. Had a bad encounter over at the check in area by this employee Mr. Jorge. The check in staff at Lobby #1 were not very nice and they didn’t foo up on certain requests.

Me encanta el lugar. Somos de los primeros clientes de este complejo, cuando abrieron el primer hotel. Esta vez nos quedamos en el Grand Punta Cana y lo unico que me disgusto, fue la musica con lenguaje soez en el area de l piscina en donde habían menores. Entiendo eso no debe pasar por que ese y Fantasia aceptan menores. Todo lo demás fue excelente.

Todo excelente. Mi unico complaint es que dejan fumar en areas en donde hay personas. Me siento en una mesa en el lobby en donde es area de no fumar y todos alrededor del area fumando. Le pido que prendan el abanico del area para que sacaran el humo y no lo prendieron. No puedo estar en area de fumar por capricho, es por condición medica. Otra cosa que entiendo inaceptable es que permitan musica con leguaje obsceno en la piscina de niños. Entiendo debe haber mayor respeto a ellos.

We had 5 days of issue after issue. Our room had a massive leak from the ceiling, flooding our room 3 times. Each time they would come to “fix it” and hours later it was pouring through the ceiling again. We had two bedroom/bathroom suite and the second bathroom shower was unusable and the first bathroom had double sinks with only one that worked, those sort of defeated the purpose of paying for a suite. They couldn’t move us due to over booking the property but gifted us a fruit basket and some champagne for our inconvenience. The buffet food wasn’t good, it was cool in temperature, no matter what you got and the à la carte restaurants were impossible to book, for a party of 2 or 4. However, we did make it to Tequila and it was wonderful. Refueled us after barely eating for a few days. The drinks were mid (typical resort quality) but the bartenders were SLOW and the lines were unbearably long. The grounds weren’t nicely kept, There was an abundance of trash everywhere. The beach was the highlight, it is what tropical vacation dreams are made of.

We stayed at this resort from February 10th to February 28th. The resort is huge and very crowded. We had to wait in line to get to the buffet. The food was very good and varied, but the service left much to be desired. The rooms are large and clean, but what was surprising was the lack of drawers and doors on the cabinets. And the most annoying thing was that to get a spot by the pool or on the beach, you had to be there no later than 7 a.m. And even then, you weren't guaranteed to get one. There was no one there, but all the sun loungers and chairs were already covered with towels.

Property was clean, staff was a mix between friendly and rude. The food was horrible, us and our friends all had stomach issues for 4-5 days. The all inclusive was very miss represented as only 1 type of beer was included and the liquor selection was limited. I don’t believe domestic beers and base level alcohol should have been a up charge. The restaurants were mostly booked when we arrived and we have to select from remaining which 2 out of the 3 we selected were very disappointing. We talked to some quests that had been to resort before and they stated that it was disappointing this year and they won’t be back. We also will not return!!!

The room was very clean (and i’m very OCD) and the staff was helpful and kind! I recommend this resort, the food was good. Only complaint was that you are limited to only eat at 3 of the restaurants and there was no option to pay to eat there (had to eat at communal buffet).

If you are looking for a quiet resort this is not for you. It is crazy busy. The buffet is nuts no plates, no cutlery, and hard to get a coffee in the morning. The rooms are nice but housekeeping is hit and miss as well as the stocking of the mini fridge some days it was other days it wasn’t. The pools are nice and the beach is awesome but there are the ignorant people that have to save chairs and never use them or show up 4 hours later if not more. The staff are nice and for the most part helpful. I like the Bahia chain of hotels but will find a quiet one for our next trip.
