Vale a pena!

Lugar novo, fica na propriedade do Hard Rock. Apartamentos maravilhosos, bem decorados e novos. Para se chegar a praia tem transfer a cada 30 minutos. Necessidade de ter carro para ir para outros lugares! Afastado do centro de punta cana e restaurantes. O beach club serve café, Estrutura de bar e restaurante, piscina de frente pro mar lindo!

I am giving the Coral House Suites a 3 star review because I have mixed emotions about my stay. Lets start with the positives the hotel is very clean, comfortable beds, nice linens and modernly stocked rooms . The pools are the best feature, VERY NICE! The staff is very friendly! The negatives: they do NOT give you wash rags! The shuttle to the beach is every half an hour, if you miss it you either wait 30 minutes or walk about 20 minutes to the beach. The driver takes his lunch break around 12, which is an hour with no shuttle, (found that out the hard way being stuck in a rain storm). The shuttle that takes you to the "mall/shopping plaza" only runs twice a day 10:30 and 2:30 and you don't have a ride back for 2 hours. The ride is cheap $5 per person but it takes a while, you will stop at several other resorts picking other passengers up, (we also found this out the hard way). The beach club and pool at the beach is very nice but we where unaware of the $80 charge to use the towels and cabanas...$80.00! We asked about the chairs/loungers or cabanas on the beach, the gentlemen told us they do not belong to the hotel and it was very clear they did. Maybe due to the language barrier he didn't understand our question of using them? Some of the staff speaks great English some do not, they are not completely forth coming with information about the amenities, you have to ask about the specifics, which is hard to do when you don't know all the rules to ask about.

Best stay in Punta Cana

The hotel is very clean and fresh since it was built not so long ago. The staff is wonderful - very helpful. On the plus side (+) this hotel is very modern and fresh. They clean your room when you want them to. It’s nice to take a shuttle bus down to the beach and eat you brekkie there. (The restaurant next to the hotel was closed during our stay) The staff both at the hotel and beach club is fantastic. What a great service!! I really do recommend people to stay here since we visited a lot of hotels during our stay. This is the best by far. Since it is a new hotel it has great potential regarding daily activities at the beach club, etc. it would be great if they had a instructor for all different kind of games etc. Also since it is so far away from everything they could plan trips to grocery shop at Iberia. That would be great!

Very poor service. lack of knowledge of how expedia reservations works. then the abscense of breakfast and daily cleaning of the room they said that was the package that expedia sold. I told them it made no sense checking in on friday afternoon and cleaning the room on sunday when our checking out is on Sunday at 12pm. The room was not too clean. smelled like wet dog and the bed sheets Had stains. Also the bathroom sink was leaking water. The pool was too dirty. Had lots of little warms which are not dangerous but it's very unconfortable. defenitively, not at the level expected compared to the price paid. Every complain written here was comunicated to the staff and their answer was that was the package i bought in expedia.

We had a very disappointing stay at Coral House Suites in July 2019. About the room accommodations/habitacion: Our hotel room smelled like chemicals and construction, it wasn't dirty, but it wasn't very clean either. The pool located out front of our room's balcony was closed off with caution tape; hotel staff said that it would be open the next day, three days later it was not! There was mold/mildew on the AC units. The bathroom shower didn't have a niche or shelf to hold our soaps making it very inconvenient as you have to open the shower door to grab your shampoo etc. About the hotel amenities: The hotel is simply too remote from the beach to make it feel like a Caribbean experience, it's more like an inland motel. There is only one restaurant on the hotel grounds, the food served there is very mediocre (scant breakfast choices). You have to take a shuttle to and from the beach, again very inconvenient and adds expense (tips). About the hotel staff: ***WARNING*** Although of pleasant countenance on the surface, do not be fooled by the hotel staff's absolute loyalty to protecting the hotel's interests. After two days of unsuccessfully attempting to negotiate the issues with our room, we informed the hotel staff of our plan to leave early. In response, the hotel literally locked us out of our room on day three by deactivating our room keys. This sort of insolence and reprisal is intolerable! To date, Coral House Suites has not issued us a refund. Stay away.

The property was lovely, and quite unique. It was our first time in a non all inclusive, but the cool part is each room came with a kitchen, and you had the option to go grocery shopping or get ur groceries delivered. Loved the view, and the pool was great. They also had there own beach property, that also had a pool and restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Coral house. I came to Dominican Republic for a wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel. For anyone who is interested in a fair unbias comparison please read on. The Coral house rooms were superior in every way. My room was a 2 bedroom luxury style apartment with modern finishes. The room was beautiful, bright and made me feel right at home. The pool was beautiful my son enjoyed it very much as it wasnt crowded. The Hard rock hotels have dark outdated rooms and your cramped into a small motel style room with a jacuzzi in the middle of the room that i personally wouldnt use no matter what. The pools at Hard rock are crowded and more busy and that can be a pro or con depending on yourself and what your seeking. The Breakfast the Coral offers needs improvement however its not bad especially for the overall value. The Hard Rock has unlimited drinks and meals as well as easy convenient beach access but when you look at what you spend for those perks ill buy my own meals, drinks and take a 5min shuttle to the beach. Anyone who stays here will feel right at home and will enjoy there stay.
