Fueron unas vacaciones bastante tranquilas,el hotel está muy bonito, las habitaciones espectaculares, la atencion del personal en todas las instalaciones son pésimas,te preguntan si quieres o necesitas algo, le dices pero nunca regresan, como que se les olvida o no te quieren atender, es un hotel más para niños, en las noches queríamos jugar billar pero los niños no te dejan, en mi opinion debería de haber un local específicamente para niños, en fin no escribiría mas lo que pienso porque sería muy largo!! No les recomiendo este hotel a las personas que no viajen con niños!!!! Es un Hotel just for kids !!!!! Ah lo más importante, el buffet es pésimo, solo pudimos cenar en dos restaurantes porq se le hacía muy difícil a la persona encargada de hacernos la reserva!! Estaba cargado de trabajo que no tenía tiempo de atender a sus huéspedes, en fin no volveria a este hotel ni lo recomendaría

We were unfortunately less than impressed with our stay and would not recommend this resort. We chose the butler option expecting an enhanced experience, but it didn’t deliver on its promises. Check-in was unwelcoming, and the staff seemed bothered by the fact that we had children in our group. On the first night, we couldn’t get dinner reservations because our butler wasn’t available until the next day. Once he arrived, he secured a reservation at Tori, which was underwhelming except for the tartare. From day one, we requested the steakhouse, but it never happened. By day three, the only option we were offered was a 9:30pm reservation—completely unrealistic for a group with children. The next night, no effort was made, and we were sent to Mangú, which we had already eaten at multiple times for lunch, trying to avoid the repetitive buffet. On our final night, we met other guests who had no butler service and still managed to dine at the steakhouse their first night. That confirmed how poorly we were managed. When we raised our concerns with customer service, no one seemed to care. To top it off, our butler texted us at 5:40pm with a 6:00pm dinner reservation—again, not practical with kids. We were also supposed to receive a $200 credit for our room and $90 toward the spa, but we were never informed about either during our stay. Our complimentary bottle of wine arrived the night before we were leaving—too little, too late. The overall service was unfriendly,

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel did not meet expectations. While we were hoping for a fun and relaxing family vacation, the resort felt almost entirely geared toward children. Nearly all activities were kid-focused, and there was very little offered for adults. One major disappointment was the lack of entertainment by the pool. Music was only played in the mornings during the aerobics class, and even then, it was very low-volume and more like lullabies or Disney songs—not energizing at all. The atmosphere felt lifeless for most of the day. The animation team didn’t seem engaged or interested in interacting with guests. On top of that, we made a restaurant reservation more than 24 hours in advance, and when we arrived, we were told there was no space. The supervisor claimed the reservation was never made, despite us having arranged it with plenty of notice. That felt frustrating and poorly handled. To be clear—we love kids, but this resort should be more transparent on its website that it’s primarily designed for families with young children. This was our 7th time in this hotel. It always feels like home. Going to miss a lot of people from here. Always willing to help and always with a smile. Our son got sick while we were staying here with a bad cold and every single person was asking about him, trying to help us. Always sad to leave. But till next year!

They asked us to pay to upgrade our stay to family master concierge service. He tried to be available for us, but he was clearly not extremely busy and would send us to the bellboy and forget to provide requested services. I would have to send multiple messages and reminders. The house cleaning was horrible. We had to stay out of our room for hours while the room was being cleaned, although we left 8:00 AM, and were told house cleaning starts at 9. We were often left outside until 3 PM. My son got sick from old beef pasta and threw up and then the water shut off in the hotel so we had to wait to clean our son up. Our trip was to celebrate his birthday, and the amount of pushback and frustration, and speaking to managers I had to do it as insane. It was horrible. I couldn’t wait to leave. We paid for all inclusive, and had to go off the resort several times to buy food. Just a waste of money, I would never ever stay here again. They asked to complete the pre arrival form, and that was a waste of time! The manager, Pilar is disgusting and lacks any compassion or customer service. Milagros made an attempt to support us, but the damage was done by the time she intervened, literally the night before we left.

Overall, it was ok. Beach practically was of no use. Food was average. Service at the steakhouse specifically was subpar. Huge shout out and compliments to kids club staff. They were kind, attentive, and very helpful. Highlight of our trip. In my opinion, things are downhill as compared to our 2023 stay.

We had a very disappointing experience at Paradisus despite booking the Family Concierge service. The staff was unhelpful and unwelcoming from the start. Our request for nearby rooms was ignored with no effort to assist us. One staff member was particularly rude during check-in. After multiple room changes—well into the evening—we still didn’t receive the setup we had booked. The next day, we returned from an excursion to find one room still dirty and unmade. When we reported it, we were unfairly blamed and, shockingly, asked to leave the hotel. We had to book another hotel last-minute. We moved to the Meliá, where the service—without any concierge perks—was respectful, friendly, and seamless. The contrast was striking. Sadly, Paradisus fell far short of what they promise.
