So the resort was nice and pools were great! We were at the adults only so very peaceful. I do feel like the room could have been cleaned a little better due to hair being everywhere on the floor. Also the hair dryers suck so bring your own. Hard to get dinner reservations so do that asap when you get there. Also not many restaurants on the adults only side so maybe worth venturing over to the main serenade side. Also people can smoke there so be mindful of the winds and where you choose to sit:(. The staff was hit or miss, some were super nice and some were rude.

The adult section was peaceful & quiet. The party pool with the swim up bar was an option if you wanted something more lively. The rooftop pool was also a vibe to experience especially at sunset. We had a suite with a view of the entire resort from the front to the pools to the ocean and a butler who made all our dinner reservations. The hibachi restaurant was excellent though a bit long wait to actually get the food. The resort was clean. The beach was calm and peaceful with lots of chairs and shade. For entertainment, we went to the nightclub at the family section which had great music.

The property is beautiful, they tell you that the resort was newer and you could definitely tell this was true because there was minimal wear and tear. All of the workers were very attentive and more than happy to assist with all of our needs. My only complaint is that all of the entertainment was on the family side, including the onsite club. The beach was ah it, the water was warm and you can go pretty far our before it begins to get deep. The speciality restaurants were hit or miss but we really enjoyed the hibachi restaurant. We were never able to make a reservation for the gourmet restaurant which was disappointing. However, the buffet had an array that made up for it.

No bottled waters, certain locations only. No premium drinks, we made a reservation for dinner and they ran out of food and bottled water—that’s unacceptable. The night before going home we asked the lobby to have a taxi ready for us because we had an early departure home. On the way to the airport the taxi driver was asked to pull to the side by Dominican police or military guard with long riffles am 47 and he decided to keep going. This taxi driver was not a legit taxi driver. He started taking his shirt off and saying that we had to say that we were family. This could of escalated to something worse or very dangerous. This man did not stop and kept saying that those police ask for money. I find this very irresponsible from the HOTEL serenade adults only to contract taxi drivers like this. This is not safe and don’t wish this bad experience upon anybody.

Our stay here was wonderful! My sister and I booked the Junior Pool View Suite Room with Double beds. The view was amazing of the pool area and the rooms were nice and clean daily. The property and Beach were immaculate and beautiful. This Resort is even more stunning in person. The buffet food was decent. But most of the best food was at the restaurants you have to reserve so make sure to do that immediately once you arrive. Our room came with Butler Service and Kelly Rondon helped book us a reservation for each night we were there. She also let us know daily what activities were going on, booked transportation to pick us up for our return flight to the airport and helped with excursions for us to enjoy. The Grilled Rib Eye Steak and Cauliflower Soup at the Braseria Steakhouse and the Koi Hibachi Restaurant with the Fried Rice, Steak, Shrimp, Squid, and Chicken was so good! La Palapa which doesn't require a reservation is great for small lunch meals but they have Italian food at night and is called La Palapa Trattoria, make sure you go there. They had the best bread, Creamy Saffron Shrimp Risotto entree, and one of the best desserts we had on the premises since you could tell it was freshly made. We had the Vanilla Panna Cotta Dessert with Whipped Passion Fruit and berry sauce. What I did not like is that I requested early check in but when arrived they do not have that. I arrived at 11 am and had to wait exactly until 3 pm to get the room. I even spoke with the manager.
