We loved the relaxation and beautiful gardens at Hotel Posada. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and kind. It was lovely to come back from a sunny day sightseeing to a float in the pool or to play in the waves on the beach. Hotel Posada helped us fall in love with Panama.

We stayed 2 nights in this one-of-a-kind hotel and we loved it. We appreciate rustic yet quality design and feel of this charming place. Serene surroundings help you recharge and appreciate back to basic kind of living. Their food was the best we had in Panama! It is all in details! We had a very relaxing stay, lovely to walk on the beach before breakfast and chill by the pool in the daytime. The food was most enjoyable and overall it was a good value stay. The arrival/check-in process could have been smoother - we arrived within the specified times but could not enter the gate as we didn't have the gate code and neither the video doorbell or the phone was answered.

Hotel is a little rundown but they were making repairs. Our room was comfortable AC worked great, breakfast was nice and the pool was wonderful. The staff was kind and helpful but services were only available if you asked. For example; website says daily housekeeping. When we asked why our room wasn’t cleaned they said we didn’t ask for it. We had the only key to the room so they couldn’t clean unless we gave them the key. We couldn’t check in because they didn’t have power in the office. They asked us every day to go check in but when we tried they said “later”. We ended up checking in and out on the same day. (Not a problem for us.) They couldn’t provide a printout of charges. Sweet people but the place is a bit disorganized. We enjoyed our time there because it was quiet and peaceful. Very few people were there which we liked. We live in Panama so we’re use to things very relaxed and off beat. If you’re looking for a 5 star resort with lots of services this isn’t it. If you want beauty, peace and quiet among friendly staff in a beautiful setting and don’t mind quirky and rustic THIS IS IT! This met our expectations so we will be back!

Amazing stay

The sea view was amazing and it had easy access to the beach. The breakfast was lovely. The hosts are very helpful. The restaurant evening meal was wonderful, we had fresh fish and shrimp. A good selection of drinks was also available. A short drive from Pedasi. We also saw a yellow caracara at breakfast as well as a black vulture.

Un hôtel authentique

Hôtel propre et authentique niché au cœur d’un jardin luxuriant.Les extérieurs au niveau du portail jusqu’à l’accueil mériteraient malgré tout un meilleur entretien. Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. Les plats servis au restaurant de l’hôtel sont simples mais bons et le petit déjeuner généreux avec des produits frais. La plage magnifique permet de longues ballades.

Hotel Posada Destiladeros is an undiscovered gem on the Azuela Peninsula! I enjoyed a rejuvenating 3 day stay in the Vietnam room, overlooking deserted Ocean beaches. A professional chef prepared meals with ingredients sourced locally - including fish and seafood. I watched the sunrise and sunset from my deck and walked on beaches during the day. Muy tranquilo.

Most everything was fine except for a couple of things. The people in the cabin next to me (I think they were workers or family) would leave their dog in the room and it barked and howled and bashed against the door constantly. All day. No one should treat a dog this way and it took away from the calmness of the resort. The pool could use a cleaning
