"Our room was very dated and drab. There was no English Sky channels and the breakfast was very poor with mainly just cakes and pastries and cheap sliced bread."

"Quite a nice hotel in a very good location for the train. The room was quite large and clean and the bathroom too. However the carpets in the hallway were rather dirty and this gave a negative first impression that would be easy to fix with a deep clean. Breakfast was not bad - the pastries were particularly nice - but the hot options were a bit drued up."

"Our villa was located in the middle of a large olive grove well away from other properties, the nearest being at least200 metres away. Will, the owner, was the most helpful, thoughtful and generous host we could have met. He had built the property himself from the ground up and supplied an amazing amount of games and equipment to make our stay enjoyable. Our stay was in late September when mosquitos were a bit of a nuisance but he equipped the place with plenty of anti mosquito plug ins. The weather was very unkind during our week with rain, a terrible thunderstorm and a flash flood across the site but Will appeared during the storm to restore the electricity and give us all the help we needed. "Great location, but a car is definitely needed. A very tranquil place, with only 14 rooms. Rooms and bathrooms are a good size and clean, however rather sparsely furnished. Staff were excellent, very helpful and offered a great service. The breakfast room was well stocked with a good variety of cold foods. The evening restaurant always seemed quiet but Mesagne was only a short drive away and offered a wide variety of dining options. The lunchtime menu was simple but adequate and tasty. The pool area was very spacious and clean however sweeping it at 5.30 am is not ideal as wakes you up. The pool itself is huge and whilst the water was clean and clear parts of the side and bottom were rather dirty and green in places which was rather off putting. WiFi was great, heating/air con excellent and complimentary bubbles on arrival was a nice touch. The resident dog, Gina, was always there in the carpark to welcome us after our day trips out which was rather cute! Location is great, close to Brindisi airport and beach ( 20 mins and 30 mins drive respectively) and lots of places of interest within 1-2 hours drive away."
