"Water pressure was a real issue. Virtually no pressure in the shower even after faulty pump was replaced. Had to use pots of water to replenish toilet cistern as it remained empty after use. A guide of sorts explaining off grid to those unfamiliar would be a good idea.Apart from the water issues the house lived up to expectations and Long Beach is a most beautiful place. Regards Michael Wise."

"This property is beautiful, eccentric, marvellous, and perfect and yet far from perfect.The original builders of this structure built a bespoke design with a flow that goes up and down and around the 2 levels like a circuit.With the lounge fire going, the 2 upstairs bedrooms heated up perfectly.The bird song, even in mid winter is melodious and spell binding.The kitchen and bathroom were roomy and I had made successful home cooked meals every day.Pitfalls and let downs are the front stairs are slippery and the outside stair light doesn’t work.My guests slipped on the stairs, fortunately without mishap.The surrounding garden has been left to go wild and this detracts.A little landscape maintenance would go a long way and the parking area needs a fresh sprinkling of gravel as it was muddy and slippery again! And this is a gem of accomodation in a gem setting."
