“COMPLETE SCAM FROM START TO FINISH.Local taxi from airport had trouble finding venue as address and map locations wrong. Finally found it due to drivers great work. Piseth was the contact on booking. On final arrival owner (not Piseth!) stated did not know he had a booking and had closed months earlier due to no bookings. Stated Piseth was the person who dealt with the website and bookings. I refused to leave until sorted. Tried to contact Piseth, the contact on booking- kept hanging up. Told……

“We chose this because we heard Siem Reap (SR) had become a mad house (it has in parts). GVV is a beautiful oasis. There are only four villas, each are two floor, architecturally fun, 2BR/2.5BA. Grounds and pool beautifully landscape. Staff great. But it is too far to walk to SR, which isn’t really a big deal given super cheap tuktuks. ”

From helping book transport to and from the airport, to coordinating the delivery of one of my crew’s lost luggage from the airport, to helping to have our laundry sent out for cleaning. The location of the villa is also great, just a short walk from restaurants (two almost right outside the front door to the villa), the old market and Pub street areas. And having our own pool was truly a godsend after touring Angkor all day. I……

“Really nicely renovated home, combining traditional Khmer house with modern conveniences. Walking distance to market, modern supermarkets, coffee shops and pub street. We were a party of 6 and my snoring keeps my wife up, so each could have their own room. Mr. No Lai picked us up at the airport and arranged trips to visit temples and Ton Le Sap. The pool is beautiful. We really enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend.”
