very, unsatisfied. when we booked this place it was supposed to be and listed as a house. it was a small cramped top floor apartment(attic) pictures don’t look like anything as listed. the check in process was crazy. was told if we needed anything they would be there quickly, it took hours to get trash bags. random people walking around property that are sketchy doing random things. i talked to someone about that and they were defending them. when people had kids at the property below us. all in all nothappy with our stay. for the money it was not worth it at all.

Run Down/Expensive Property - DO NOT RENT

I wish it were an option to give this location and its owner ZERO stars. Property - close to the main drag of the island and that is where the positives end. The physical accommodations were awful. The home is dated. The furniture (beds, couches, etc.) are in disrepair. Owner - if you wanted to bring your mother so that she could tell you what to do all day, don't bother. This property comes with one of those. The owner was around constantly (day and night) and we felt like we were being watched the entire time we were there. Also, she charged $200 for the ability to enter the property early. She promised noon over the phone, but we were not able to enter the property until 2 in actuality. So, that money was essentially flushed. Expense - I was nearly $4K into a less than 48 hour stay by the time I was done paying for everything. If that is the prevailing rate on the island, then good for the owners. However, it strikes me as odd that I could stay in midtown Manhattan for a week for half that amount. After my trip, I learned (post 3 attempts to contact her) that my security deposit was not going to be returned. Why? Because we damaged the property? Because we did not properly clean? NO - because we had more than the "max occupancy" of 10 people stay at night. I was lectured via email to not break her rules during my future stays and I won't experience this problem in the future. So, there's another $500 down the drain. Summary - I would STRONGLY caution against renting from this "company." If there were 1,000 places to rent on the island and this were the only place available, I would instead sleep in my car. The property is nowhere close to being worth the exorbitant nightly rates and the owner does not conduct business in a professional manner.
