"This hotel is run down. The interior of my room had so much wear and tear, I had no control over the air temp and woke up sweating since I couldn’t actually use the AC, and it was also just not the cleanest. I’ve stayed in better kept hostels for cheaper. Also the breakfast buffet was also very underwhelming compared to others I had throughout Uzbekistan. The staff is nice, and friendly. Overall, glad I only booked this place for one night. Wasn’t my favorite"

On the positive side, the location is good, the property is clean and well maintained, the breakfast and food were enjoyable, and the reception team was responsive: they moved me to a different room for one night after I raised an issue. The main problem is noise. The hotel and rooftop bar share the same building, and at night the walls vibrate from the music upstairs apart from noise coming from lobby, downstairs.
