"This worked for the 1 night I needed. Well-appointed studio flat (with a washing machine and laundry liquid). Staff were really helpful; despite no English, they worked out a translation for me. The room was well equipped, but also showed signs of age, with some peeling floor and damaged units. The floor would have benefited from a better sweep-through, but the bed was clean and comfy! Conveniently located next to the 4th May subway stop on line 3, and a 10-minute walk to the waterfront. Would stay here again, but maybe not choose the most basic room! Note: check-in is on the 10th floor."

"This hotel is located very conveniently near the Qingdao metro station Yan'er Dao Lu. It's an older style but I always find it really comfortable. It's also close to where I can meet with friends to go for cheap breakfasts, lunches etc. My room on the 35th floor was really spacious and the cleaning staff were great. My pen happened to run out of ink while I was writing my diary and the cleaner gave me hers. Front desk staff were also helpful and I will certainly come back when I am next in Qingdao, which will be soon I hope."

"Very nice modern room - no cabinets and drawers which I don’t mind at all (I don’t use them). Would be good if there’s a safe and a ledge in the shower. Hotel seems newly renovated. Breakfast is good, but can be crowded during peak times."

"This is a new hotel so everything is very modern and new. The hotel is walking distance, minutes away from a mall and several restaurants. This whole area is not overcrowded so I like it."
